Both Vietnamese athletes qualified for the final. Meanwhile, in the men's 50m butterfly event, Vietnam had 2 representatives in the final, Hoang Khang and Luong Jeremie. Similarly, Pham Thi Van and Nguyen Thuy Hien both passed the women's 50m freestyle qualifying round to participate in the final this afternoon.
