On July 17th, the Department of Education and Training of Thua Thien Hue province released data on the exam results after the high school graduation exam scores for 2024 were announced.

Accordingly, Thua Thien Hue province achieved a 99.33% pass rate for the 2024 high school graduation exam. This year, exam scores increased slightly across all subjects (in 2023, the pass rate was 98.08%), with many schools achieving a 100% pass rate.
Notably, Thua Thien Hue province did not record any subjects with an average score below 5. The number of candidates with scores of 1 point or less in the combined test and its component subjects was among the lowest nationwide (only 3 students), and there were no candidates with a score of 0.
No student nationwide achieved a perfect score of 10 in the 2024 high school graduation exam in mathematics.
According to the Department of Education and Training of Thua Thien Hue province, based on the average exam score, the province achieved 6.74 points (compared to 6.5 points in 2023) and ranked 23rd out of 63 provinces and cities, an increase of 3 places compared to 2023.
