On July 17, the Department of Education and Training of Thua Thien - Hue province announced the results of the 2024 high school graduation exam.

Accordingly, the entire Thua Thien - Hue province achieved a graduation rate of 99.33% of candidates passing the 2024 high school graduation exam. This year, the exam scores increased slightly in all subjects (in 2023, the graduation rate was 98.08%), in which many schools achieved a rate of 100%.
Notably, Thua Thien - Hue province did not record any subject with an average score below 5. The number of candidates with test scores and component test scores of the combined test of 1 point or less was among the lowest in the country (only 3 students), no candidate had a score of 0.
The whole country has no candidate who scored 10 points in math in the 2024 high school graduation exam.
According to the Department of Education and Training of Thua Thien - Hue province, based on the average exam score, this locality achieved 6.74 points (6.5 points in 2023) and ranked 23rd out of 63 provinces and cities, up 3 places compared to 2023.
