The Resolution of the 13th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam clearly stated the goal: "By 2025, commemorating the 50th anniversary of the complete liberation of the South and the reunification of the country: Vietnam will be a developing country with a modern industrial sector, surpassing the lower-middle income level." To achieve this goal, one of the three strategic breakthroughs identified is: "Building a synchronous and modern infrastructure system for both economic and social aspects; prioritizing the development of several key national transportation projects, adapting to climate change; focusing on developing information and telecommunications infrastructure, creating a foundation for national digital transformation, and gradually developing a digital economy and a digital society."
Contributing to that common goal, many localities across the country are competing in production, working diligently, and making their mark with exemplary and modern projects, contributing to the overall development of the nation.
Many authors and photographers submitted photographic works documenting the development of localities across the country to participate in the "Happy Vietnam 2025" Award .
Author Trung Thanh Nguyen submitted his work "Thuan An Sea Overpass Connecting the Central Coastal Road" to the organizing committee.
This photograph depicts Thuan An estuary in Phu Vang district, Hue city. The bridge, 2.36 km long, is part of a coastal road project with a total investment of 3,496 billion VND for the completed phase, of which phase 1 is 2,400 billion VND. The project was approved by the Hue City People's Committee and commenced construction on March 26, 2022. The bridge uses an extradosed beam-cable structure for the main spans, with the largest span measuring 218m, offering high technical and economic efficiency. It is expected that the bridge will be opened for technical traffic on September 2nd, 2025, and the entire project will be completed by the end of 2025. Once operational, this coastal road will facilitate the development of the coastal urban area of Hue City, boosting socio-economic development, tourism , and improving the lives of local residents. In addition to its transportation role, the project will also create approximately 1,500 hectares of coastal land, attracting investment and opening up opportunities for the development of tourism infrastructure, services, and high-end resorts in Hue City in the future.
The author of "Good Films" submitted the work " Urban Area with Wind Power View " to the competition , Vinh Trach Dong Commune, Bac Lieu Province .
Located in the coastal area of Vinh Trach Dong commune, the wind farm is more than 10km from the center of Bac Lieu city. From a purely industrial project aimed at exploiting wind energy, it has now become an eco-tourism destination combining clean energy for the entire province. The panoramic view of the coastal urban area overlooks the wind farm, with a cool atmosphere blending harmoniously with nature.
Author Sinh Tran Tien with his work " Lighting Up ".
The artwork depicts the Vinh Tan 4 Thermal Power Plant in Vinh Tien, Binh Thuan, operating at night from a perspective on Tuy Phong beach, providing a significant source of electricity for the country's development.
In 2021, the Vinh Tan 4 Thermal Power Plant - a branch of Vietnam Electricity Group (EVN), located in Vinh Tan commune, Tuy Phong district, overcame numerous difficulties and challenges to maintain continuous and safe operation, ensuring the full supply of electricity to the national grid as required by Vietnam Electricity Group, contributing to ensuring energy security and economic development in the Southern region, including Binh Thuan province.
These are important projects, "symbolic" projects that contribute to positioning Vietnam's image as "Independence - Peace - Unity - Self-reliance - Happiness - Prosperity - Civilization - Abundance" on the world map, and ultimately bring benefits to the people, who enjoy the fruits of these projects.
