Mitsubishi Motors Vietnam
The Japanese joint venture stated that all Mitsubishi models equipped with electronic fuel injection (MPI/EFI) engines distributed in Vietnam, manufactured from 1997 to the present, are compatible with E10 bioethanol fuel.
Except for some older models such as the L300 (carburetor engine) manufactured 1995-2003, Pajero V31 (carburetor engine) manufactured 1997-2000, Jolie (carburetor engine) manufactured 1998-2003, and Proton Wira (fuel injection engine) manufactured 1996-1999, compatibility has not been determined.
Toyota Vietnam
Toyota vehicles manufactured from 1997 onwards, including both new and used cars, are compatible with E10 gasoline. Using this biofuel also does not increase maintenance and repair costs for Toyota vehicles.
Suzuki Vietnam
On its official fanpage, Suzuki Vietnam affirms that all car models distributed from 2001 to the present operate normally with E10 gasoline. The current range of Suzuki gasoline-powered car models includes the Fronx, Swift, XL7, Jimny, and Eeco.
Kia Vietnam
All Kia models distributed by Thaco Auto are compatible with E10 biofuel and meet Euro 5 emission standards.
Mazda Vietnam
Similarly, the Japanese automaker also affirmed that all Mazda models using internal combustion engines currently available in Vietnam meet stringent emission standards and are compatible with E10 biofuel, ensuring stable operation, safety for users, and environmental friendliness.
Hyundai Vietnam
Hyundai vehicles officially distributed in Vietnam by Hyundai Thanh Cong, including both new and used cars (manufactured from 2005 onwards), are compatible with E10 fuel.
According to the distributor, no significant difference in operating performance was observed when using standard E10 gasoline. Using E10 gasoline does not affect the lifespan of the engine or any of its components.
Furthermore, vehicle owners do not need to install additional equipment, make technical adjustments, or change their maintenance procedures when using E10 gasoline.
Ford Vietnam
Ford Vietnam affirms that all of its gasoline-powered vehicles are fully compatible with E10 bioethanol fuel.
According to Ford's design standards, using E10 gasoline that meets the vehicle's emission standards will not affect engine performance on all gasoline-powered vehicles that Ford Vietnam has distributed to the market.
Using E10 gasoline, which meets the vehicle's emission standards, will not affect Ford's official warranty policy.
Lynk & Co Vietnam
Lynk & Co confirms that all models officially distributed in the Vietnamese market, including the 01, 03, 05, 06, 08 EM-P, and 09, are fully compatible and can use E10 gasoline, meeting international standards.
Geely Vietnam
All Geely models currently distributed officially in the Vietnamese market meet the standards and are suitable for using E10 gasoline as per current regulations.
Omoda & Jaecoo Vietnam
The Omoda & Jaecoo models currently distributed officially in the Vietnamese market, including the Omoda C5, Omoda C5 SHS-H, Jaecoo J7, Jaecoo J7 SHS-P, and the brand's new generation products, have all been researched, developed, and tested to be compatible with E10 bioethanol fuel according to international standards.
Volkswagen Vietnam
According to Volkswagen's global operating standards, current genuine Volkswagen models are developed to be compatible with E10 fuel, meeting quality standards. When using fuel from reputable distribution systems and performing maintenance on schedule, E10 gasoline does not affect the vehicle's performance or engine durability.
Mercedes-Benz Vietnam
Most current Mercedes-Benz models are fully compatible with E10 fuel (according to the applicable standards). Users can check this information on the fuel cap, or in the owner's manual for vehicles launched before 2017, or online for models from 2017 onwards.
Please note that C 200 CGI (code W203) and CLK 200 CGI (code C209) models manufactured between 2001 and 2005, as well as classic cars using carburetors manufactured before 1990, are not compatible with this fuel.
In addition, car manufacturers generally recommend that customers use fuel that meets standards and prioritize refueling at reputable distribution systems, as well as performing regular maintenance as recommended by the manufacturer.
