The Hanoi Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board has just awarded Package 07/TP3-EPC: Design, supply of materials, equipment and construction (including survey, BIM) of Component Project 3: Investment and construction of Ngoc Hoi Bridge and approach roads at both ends of the bridge to Ngoc Hoi Bridge EPC Joint Venture with a winning bid of VND 8,235 billion, construction time of 30 months.
This consortium includes the following contractors: Pacific Construction Group - China Railway Large Bridge Survey and Design Institute Group Co., Ltd. - Trung Chinh Construction and Trading Co., Ltd. - VNCN E&C Construction and Engineering Investment Joint Stock Company - Deo Ca Group Joint Stock Company - Investment and Construction Joint Stock Company No. 18 - DELTA Commercial Construction Joint Stock Company - Thanh Huy Group Joint Stock Company - Vietnam Infrastructure Investment and Consulting Joint Stock Company
Package 07/TP3-EPC is implemented in the communes: Thanh Tri, Nam Phu and Bat Trang - Hanoi City; Phung Cong and Van Giang - Hung Yen province.
In addition to Package 07/TP3 – EPC, the Hanoi City Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board has also found contractors to undertake other packages under Component Project 3: Investment and construction of Ngoc Hoi Bridge and access roads at both ends of the bridge.
In which, the consulting contractor for survey, hydraulic and hydrological mathematical modeling and preparation of the Feasibility Study Report (including Building Information Modeling (BIM)) is the Joint Venture of Bridge - Tunnel Design Consulting Joint Stock Company and Vietnam Institute of Water Resources.
The consulting contractor for survey, FEED overall technical design and construction estimate (including BIM) is Bridge - Tunnel Design Consulting Joint Stock Company.
The EPC package supervision consultant is a consortium of Traffic Construction Investment Consulting Joint Stock Company 1 - Transport Design Corporation - Institute of Transport Science and Technology - Traffic Engineering and Architecture Consulting Joint Stock Company - Thang Long Construction Consulting Joint Stock Company.
Component project 3: Implement investment in construction of Ngoc Hoi bridge and approach roads at both ends of the bridge with a total length of about 7.5 km, of which about 5.2 km is in Hanoi city and about 2.3 km is in Hung Yen province.
The project has a starting point at Km0+000 connecting to the end point of Ring Road 3.5, Phuc La - Van Phu section to Phap Van - Cau Gie Expressway, about 360m from the expressway towards Huu Hong dike, in Thanh Tri commune, Hanoi; the end point at Km7+500 connecting to Ring Road 3.5, about 700m from Ta Hong dike towards Hanoi - Hai Phong Expressway in Van Giang commune, Hung Yen province.
Of which, the main bridge over the Red River is about 680 m long, the main bridge width (including the inspection shoulder) is 32.3 m, the total bridge width (including the cable-stayed part) is 38.3 m, ensuring 6 motor vehicle lanes and 2 mixed vehicle lanes. The approach bridge is about 6.58 km long, the approach bridge width is 33 m.
The Ngoc Hoi bridge construction project also includes the synchronous construction of technical infrastructure, lighting, ITS (intelligent traffic system), traffic organization, and items serving the inspection, maintenance and repair of the bridge after completion according to current regulations and standards.
Ngoc Hoi Bridge, when completed, is expected to strengthen the connection between Hanoi Capital with Hung Yen Province and new urban areas, creating momentum for socio-economic development for the southern area of the city as well as the southern and southeastern provinces of the capital region.
The route contributes to distributing traffic flow, reducing pressure on the central area when vehicles from the North and Northwest move to the Southeast, thereby limiting the risk of congestion and improving traffic capacity.
