The journey "Strong physical condition, Strong future" brings Mid-Autumn Festival to nearly 700 children in the highlands of Da Nang

DNO - On October 2 and 3, the charity program "Strong physical condition, Strong future" took place in Hung Son commune and Tra Lien commune (Da Nang city), supporting gifts for nearly 700 children in difficult circumstances.

This is a charity activity organized by Searefico Engineering and Construction Joint Stock Company (Searefico E&C) and accompanying units.

The program is implemented in coordination with Searefico Joint Stock Company and Searee Refrigeration Electrical Engineering Joint Stock Company; with the support of many individuals and businesses such as: Filmore, Akyn, Greenpan, Phoenix, Vietthai, Aerofoam, Duc Tuong Group, Prostock Vietnam, Alb & Partners, Thanh Xuan Air Duct, Happy Space, Huy Hoang, UK Company, Dat Vinh Tien, Sunlight, Sunny Pearl, NTK, and Southeast Asia Electricity.

This is the first time the program has been organized. To ensure the event runs smoothly and the gifts reach the right recipients, the Searefico E&C and Searee teams have previously surveyed and worked directly with the local authorities.

The schools proposed by the government include: Ly Tu Trong Ethnic Boarding Secondary School, Axan - Tr'hy Inter-Commune Kindergarten (Hung Son Commune) and Son Ca Kindergarten (Tra Lien Commune). Most of the students here are ethnic minority children, many of whom are from poor households and have to stay in boarding schools because their homes are 25 - 30km from the school.

The total value of cash and goods donated to the program was more than 888.3 million VND. The support was converted into gifts, combined with cultural exchange activities to welcome the Mid-Autumn Festival with children in Hung Son and Tra Lien communes, which was more than 788.3 million VND.

In addition to the two locations in Da Nang , the program "Strong physical, Strong future" also donated 100 million VND to the PureVN fund, contributing to the realization of 40,000 meals for children.

Searefico E&C representative said that all contributions will be made public to benefactors after the program ends, affirming the transparency in the company's CSR activities.

In Hung Son commune, the program handed out 500 gifts to students, each including: notebooks, candy, lanterns, supplements, cash and 2 cartons of Vinamilk milk.

The locality also received 1,500 more cartons of Vinamilk milk to supplement the daily meals of boarding students, along with instant noodles and lion heads for recreational activities.

A representative of Hung Son commune government said that the locality appreciates this concern and believes that the program not only brings Mid-Autumn gifts but also adds spirit to families, teachers and the government to continue making efforts to care for the younger generation.

In Tra Lien commune, 100 gifts were given, each consisting of notebooks, candy, lanterns and 2 cartons of Vinamilk milk. The locality also received 600 cartons of Vinamilk milk to supplement the daily rations of boarding students.

Representatives of the Board of Directors of Ly Tu Trong Secondary School for Ethnic Minorities and Son Ca Kindergarten shared that the gifts are a source of encouragement, helping students have more motivation to study and improve. The source of nutritious milk from the program also contributes practically to improving the physical fitness and health of children in mountainous areas.

This activity is part of the CSR and ESG orientation that Searefico E&C pursues. Providing practical nutrition is not only an immediate support, but also contributes to improving the physical health and creating more motivation for the children.

The charity fund "Strong physical condition, Strong future" was established with the mission of joining hands with businesses, localities and communities, aiming to bring sustainable development to children in difficult circumstances through physical improvement activities.
