Scale and expected investment roadmap of urban railway project in Da Nang city

DNO - The Da Nang urban railway project is on the list of key driving forces for the 2025 - 2030 period according to Action Program No. 09-CTr/TU dated October 14, 2025 of the City Party Committee on implementing the Resolution of the 1st Congress of the City Party Committee (term 2025 - 2030). This is a driving force project, expected to improve traffic infrastructure and enhance people's quality of life.

According to the old Da Nang City Planning for the period 2021 - 2030, with a vision to 2050 and the old Quang Nam Province Planning for the period 2021 - 2030, with a vision to 2050, Da Nang currently plans to develop 3 urban railway lines (MRT), 12 light rail lines (LRT) and 3 LRT lines for tourism with a total length of nearly 283km.
