According to the Lam Dong Provincial Civil Defense Command, as of 11:00 a.m. on November 22, the province had initially estimated the damage caused by floods since November 17 at around VND1,055 billion. Notably, the floods affected over 2,000 households and inundated and damaged over 4,000 hectares of crops.

For example, in Cat Tien commune, about 400 flooded households had to be evacuated to a safe place; Ninh Gia commune had about 150 houses in 5 villages flooded and isolated about 100 households in Thien Chi village...

Regarding production, agriculture, aquaculture and livestock, according to preliminary statistics, over 4,009 hectares of crops, mainly flowers, were affected and damaged, and over 18,000 poultry and over 656 cattle were swept away by floods. Communes with heavily flooded crop areas and livestock damage include D'Ran with about 500 hectares of vegetables; Ka Do with about 560 hectares, completely damaged over 9,000 poultry and 25 cattle; Nam Nung commune with about 280 hectares of rice and crops along the Krong No river flooded, the locality has not yet counted the damage; Nam Da commune with about 500 hectares of rice fields flooded...

Previously, from November 16 to 19, 2025, heavy rains occurred in many areas of Lam Dong province, some even very heavy. In recent days, hydroelectric reservoirs have been operating to regulate the flow through spillways, causing flooding in downstream areas. Especially in the communes of Duc Trong, D'Ran, Ka Do, Quang Lap, Hiep Thanh, Don Duong, Nam Nung, Quang Phu and Nam Da, which suffered heavy damage. It is forecasted that from November 22 to 25, 2025, rainfall will generally range from 10 to 20mm.
