On the morning of November 22, Comrade Bui Thi Minh Hoai, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and the working delegation visited and encouraged people affected by floods in Ka Do commune, Lam Dong province.

Also attending were comrades: Y Thanh Ha Nie Kdam, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Lam Dong province; Pham Thi Phuc, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lam Dong province; and leaders of departments, branches and localities.

At the place she visited, Comrade Bui Thi Minh Hoai inquired about the health and living conditions of the local people. In light of the damage that local people had to endure in this natural disaster, she encouraged them to overcome difficulties, quickly restore production, and stabilize their lives.

The Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front acknowledged and highly appreciated the role of the village front working committee, the village chiefs, and village party cell secretaries in Ka Do commune who promoted their sense of responsibility, promptly propagandized, and mobilized people to evacuate to safe places, contributing to stabilizing the local situation during the recent heavy rains.

He requested Lam Dong province and Ka Do commune to continue closely monitoring weather developments and synchronously deploying solutions to overcome the consequences of natural disasters. At the same time, mobilize forces to support people in a timely manner; quickly review and assess the damage to have appropriate support policies , ensure people's safety, and not let any household go hungry.

On this occasion, Comrade Bui Thi Minh Hoai and the delegation presented gifts to support 20 families who suffered heavy losses in Ka Do commune. At the same time, gifts were presented to encourage the heads of the front work committees, village chiefs, and village party cell secretaries who have made many contributions to the work of natural disaster prevention and control.

Lam Dong Provincial Party Secretary Y Thanh Ha Nie Kdam, on behalf of the provincial leaders, presented gifts to families and grassroots officials.

Comrade Bui Thi Minh Hoai and leaders of Lam Dong province, along with the working delegation, visited the flood-affected area in Ka Do commune.

Comrade Bui Thi Minh Hoai called on all levels, sectors, mass organizations and social communities to continue promoting the spirit of solidarity, joining hands to support people to overcome the consequences of floods and soon stabilize their lives.
