Volunteer Group 76 Binh Son and Quang Ngai mobilized instant noodles, bottled water, canned food, dry food, milk, clothes, blankets, warm clothes, basic medicine, medical supplies, flashlights, batteries, power banks, candles and other essential household items.
Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hong, a member of the group, said: "All of these are essential items to help people in flooded areas survive in harsh weather conditions, with heavy rain that has left many places isolated for many days."

On November 22, the group received a lot of necessities from the people. A truck carrying about 20 tons of goods will depart that same day to reach the people in the flooded areas in time.
According to plan, the volunteer group's convoy will go to Dak Lak province, which is heavily affected, with many residential areas isolated when floodwaters rise.

Mr. Nguyen Van Tien added: “We constantly update the flood situation, the extent of damage and the actual needs of the people. From there, we compile a list and plan to support the right place, the right people, especially households that have been isolated for a long time.”

Many localities in Quang Ngai province have simultaneously arranged points to receive relief goods to support people in flooded areas. Local forces and volunteer groups have mobilized to collect necessities, classify them and transport them to transit areas.
* On November 22, in the mountainous commune of Tra Bong (Quang Ngai province), people together organized to wrap Chung cake and Tet cake to send to people in the flooded areas of the South Central region.

From early morning, people in the commune gathered to bring sticky rice, green beans, banana leaves, bamboo, strings... to prepare each batch of cakes together.
More than 50 people joined hands to wrap cakes in a busy but warm atmosphere. Mrs. Ho Thi Trung, 78 years old, emotionally said: "Seeing the people in the flood area struggling, many old people had to climb on the roof to call for help, cold and hungry, I feel so sorry. I am old too, seeing the old people in the flood in difficulty, I sympathize, so I will try to do whatever I can to help my fellow countrymen."

Ms. Nguyen Thi Ha Tien said that from morning to afternoon, people had wrapped about 1,200 banh chung and banh tet. After wrapping, all the cakes will be cooked with firewood overnight. It is expected that on the morning of November 23, the group will depart to bring the cakes to areas heavily affected by floods in Dak Lak province.

The simple but meaningful banh chung and banh tet cakes of Tra Bong people are a word of encouragement to the people in the flood area, that in times of difficulty and misfortune, we are always there for each other.
