According to the agreement, Quang Ninh and Da Nang will strengthen communication coordination, promote destination images in target markets; support businesses in building inter-regional products, especially tourism routes connecting heritage and islands.

At the same time, organize large-scale joint promotion programs, thereby creating momentum for two-way tourist flows and enhancing the position of each locality on the Vietnamese and international tourism map.

The signing ceremony is a key activity in the program to promote and introduce Quang Ninh tourism organized by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Quang Ninh province, within the framework of Vietnam Travel Day 2025 (November 20-23).

The event was coordinated by the Vietnam Tourism Association, Quang Ninh Tourism Association and related units, attracting nearly 400 delegates from international tourism promotion agencies, tourism industry leaders and domestic and foreign travel businesses.

The signing aims to strengthen regional connectivity, effectively exploit the potential and advantages of each locality, and at the same time open a new phase of connectivity between the two leading tourist centers of the Central and Northern regions.

This is a continuation of the series of activities to exchange, connect businesses and share experiences in destination management that the two localities have effectively implemented in the past, while also laying the foundation for expanding stronger cooperation in the coming time.

Vietnam Travel Day 2025, organized for the first time by the Vietnam Tourism Association in coordination with the People's Committee of Quang Ninh province, marks one of the largest-scale trade promotion activities (B2B) of the tourism industry in 2025, creating an important driving force for the year-end tourist season.

The event saw the participation of approximately 520 domestic and foreign tourism units. Notably, there were 120 international travel businesses from key Asian markets.
