On November 21, the School of Economics - Can Tho University coordinated with the University of Finance - Marketing, Ryukoku University (Japan) and Tun Hussein Onn University (Malaysia) to organize the 2nd International Scientific Conference for Economics Students (ISCE 2025) with the theme "Reshaping Economics and Management in the Digital Age and Sustainable Development".

This is an important academic event, bringing together domestic and foreign experts, scientists and students, aiming to create a space for multidimensional academic exchange and update the latest trends in the world economy.
The conference was organized to create conditions for scientists, lecturers and students to share research results in the fields of economics, management and sustainable development in the context of the strong Industrial Revolution 4.0. Not only contributing to the dissemination of new knowledge, the event also aims to create a prestigious international academic forum, where creative ideas are promoted and research results can be transformed into practical solutions to serve life. This is also an opportunity for domestic and foreign economic students to strengthen connections, exchange, share academic experiences and expand international cooperation networks.
Within the framework of the workshop, lecturers and experts from the School of Economics - Can Tho University and partner universities updated and provided a lot of useful information and knowledge for students, especially the outstanding trends in digital economy, business model innovation and modern management. Along with that, student groups participated in presenting many papers and research reports in diverse and practical fields.
Notable among them are studies related to digital business and digital economy; e-commerce and customer experience enhancement; ecological economics, circular economy and sustainable development solutions. Some student groups focus on human resource management in the context of Gen Z becoming the main workforce, analyzing career motivation, engagement level and behavior of young workers in modern enterprises.

In addition, the conference also recorded many reports on tourism service quality management, innovation in the field of trade and services, consumer behavior research such as analyzing factors affecting the decision to buy food with bio-packaging in Can Tho City or evaluating the impact of brand value on purchasing behavior. These studies are not only topical but also demonstrate the students' scientific thinking, critical thinking and ability to apply knowledge into practice.
Associate Professor Dr. Le Khuong Ninh, Principal of the School of Economics (Can Tho University) said: ISCE 2025 continues to affirm its role as an international academic forum for economics students, promoting the spirit of research, innovation and integration. He emphasized that reshaping economics and management in the digital age is an inevitable requirement and students with young thinking and quick adaptability are an important force contributing to creating new solutions for sustainable development.
