In Document No. 381/SDL - QLLH dated August 19, 2025 of Ninh Binh Department of Tourism on recommendations for measures to ensure safety for tourists, it is stated: To ensure the safety of tourists when experiencing various types of tourism, the Department of Tourism requests the People's Committees at the commune level, Management Boards of tourist areas and spots, and tourism service establishments in the province to strengthen propaganda and raise awareness for tourists. Units need to diversify propaganda forms so that people and tourists can easily access and understand the risks and preventive measures when traveling in the forest.

The Department also requested the Management Board of eco-tourism areas and spots to strengthen warnings, place warning signs, provide guidance, and set up landmarks, while coordinating with forest rangers and security forces to strictly control illegal trekking activities.

Publicize the Ninh Binh province tourist support hotline 1900.0117 and the hotline of the Management Board of tourist areas and attractions in visible locations. Coordinate the development and implementation of rescue plans, prepare vehicles to be ready to serve the search, rescue and rescue missions for tourists in all situations.

At the same time, travel agencies must train and send experienced tour guides who are knowledgeable about the terrain and have rescue skills to join the group. Tour guides need to thoroughly explain the rules, routes and necessary equipment when organizing tours.

Ninh Binh Department of Tourism also recommends that tourists strictly follow safety instructions, prepare health and appropriate equipment before participating in activities in the forest.

Tourists should pay special attention to always follow the group, absolutely do not separate from the group or go alone. At the same time, it is necessary to equip neat clothes, suitable climbing shoes, bring raincoats, insect repellent; prepare enough drinking water, some basic medical supplies, necessary snacks. In addition, tourists need to keep in regular contact with the tour guide/group, obey the gathering signal; do not encroach on the natural landscape, do not touch strange animals and plants; immediately notify the tour guide or the Management Board if you feel tired, lost or have an accident.

Tourists absolutely must not trek on their own or go deep into the forest without the guidance of authorities or tour guides.
