On the evening of June 1st, speaking with Tri Thức - Znews , Mr. Bui Van Manh, Director of the Ninh Binh Provincial Department of Tourism , stated that the spiritual story circulating on social media is completely inaccurate. According to him, the Department has received information about the incident and affirms that this content is "baseless," "unverified," and could cause public confusion and negatively impact the image of local tourism.
"Tourists need to be cautious when receiving information and should consult official channels to cross-check and verify before trusting or sharing it," Mr. Mạnh said.
The Director of Ninh Binh's Department of Tourism stated that for many years, the locality has become a prominent destination, attracting a large number of domestic and international tourists thanks to its unique natural landscapes and rich system of historical and cultural relics. He affirmed that Ninh Binh and the Trang An scenic complex are safe destinations, and tourists can feel completely secure when visiting and experiencing them.
Previously, on the night of May 31st and the day of June 1st, a post by a female tourist recounting her experiences during a 3-day trip to Ninh Binh attracted over 3 million views and tens of thousands of interactions and comments.
According to her post, the female tourist arrived in Ninh Binh on May 29th, combining work and tourism. She stated that during her visit to Trang An and while traveling around the area late at night, she encountered several unsettling situations that she considered inexplicable. After the post was published, the story quickly became a topic of discussion on social media.

With its many unique natural landscapes and rich cultural and historical heritage, Ninh Binh has long been a familiar destination for domestic and international tourists.
The area's advantages stem from its proximity to major centers, convenient transportation, and diverse range of tourism products, from spiritual and eco-tourism to resort tourism. Famous destinations such as Trang An - Bai Dinh, Hoa Lu ancient capital, Mua Cave, Tam Coc - Bich Dong, Thung Nham, and Cuc Phuong National Park create a rich tourism ecosystem for the locality.
Ninh Binh is also gradually becoming an important transit point in the journey of exploring Northern Vietnam for international tourists, located on the Hanoi - Ninh Binh - Ha Long tourism link. A large number of international tourists visiting Hanoi also combine their trip with a visit to this locality.
During the nine-day holiday period encompassing the Hung Kings Commemoration Day and the April 30th - May 1st holidays, the locality welcomed nearly 2.8 million visitors, including over 2.5 million domestic tourists and more than 274,000 international visitors. Many destinations recorded high visitor numbers, such as Trang An with 108,500 visitors, the Bai Dinh - Thung Ui spiritual and cultural complex (54,103 visitors), the Thung Nham ecological area (49,954 visitors), and the Tam Coc - Bich Dong tourist area (42,347 visitors), thanks to new products and diverse experiences.

This year, Ninh Binh aims to welcome 20 million tourists, including 3 million international visitors. To achieve this goal and increase tourist spending, the province plans to implement a comprehensive set of solutions, ranging from improving policies and mechanisms and developing infrastructure to restructuring tourism products and promoting the cultural industry.
"We hope to expand the tourism space by diversifying products, increasing regional linkages, and enhancing the attractiveness of the destination, gradually affirming its position as an attractive, safe, and friendly destination, ready to welcome larger numbers of tourists in the future," Director Bui Van Manh emphasized.
