Dai Tu district has a large area, many mountainous areas are far from the district center, and the population is sparse. Therefore, ensuring electricity supply for production and daily life for all people in the area is still facing many difficulties. In order to better meet the people's demand for electricity, over the years, the Electricity sector has synchronously implemented technical solutions, increased investment in upgrading and renovating the power grid system in the area...
Dai Tu Power Workers check voltage at peak hours after load leveling at new anti-overload substations put into operation. |
Over a month now, nearly 1 households, 140 people in Rung Lam hamlet, Ban Ngoai commune, are very happy when the 576KVA Rung Lam Substation has been put into operation. Mr. Nguyen Van Van, Head of Rung Lam hamlet, shared: For a long time, people in the village have always lived in a low power situation, due to having to pull electricity from the substation in the neighboring village. At peak hours (250-6 pm) it is very difficult to roast tea and cook, even the light bulb is not bright as usual. Many families have to wait until 7-9 o'clock at night to dry tea, many batches of tea have to be discarded because the electricity is flickering while operating the machine. But now it is different, people can use electricity to pump water to irrigate tea, irrigate rice, operate machinery at any time of the day, children have bright electricity to study, people are also braver in life. Procurement of production machinery, electrical equipment for daily life…
Along with Rung Lam Substation, from the beginning of the year until now, the whole Dai Tu district has 6 more substations put into operation. This is an item in the medium-voltage grid overload prevention project with the scale of building 7 new 22kV and 35kV transmission lines, supplying power to 7 substations; to build and renovate 23,7km of low-voltage transmission lines in communes: Ngoai, Minh Tien, Ha Thuong, Tien Hoi, Yen Lang communes.
After energizing, all substations were connected and leveled with neighboring substations, ensuring the quality of electricity supplied to the people. The total investment of the project is nearly 6 billion VND.
In addition to this project, for the medium voltage 22-35kV grid, in 2023, Thai Nguyen Power Company also invests in the project to renovate and upgrade the 35kV line from bare AC120 wire to 150mm2 coated wire. the ground phase distance from Dai Tu 110kV station connecting the loop with 110kV Pho Yen and Song Cong stations with a total investment of 45 billion VND.
Also in this year, the Company has invested 3,3 billion VND for a major repair project of the power grid consisting of 2 items: 35kV medium voltage lines and substations in 9 communes and towns of Dai Tu district. All projects were completed and energized in April.
Along with the investment of Thai Nguyen Power Company, from the beginning of the year until now, Dai Tu Electricity has also been implementing nearly 40 items of regular repair of power grids in communes and towns with a total value of nearly 500 million dong. The repair items mainly focus on replacing low-voltage poles, changing circuit breakers, fuses, increasing contact on low-voltage grids...
In order to ensure the safety of the power grid and stabilize the quality of power supply, Dai Tu Electricity regularly inspects and reviews the operation of substations in the area. At the same time, switch substations due to overloading and under-loading on the power grid; leveling off the distribution grid for substations in order to reduce the power supply radius, improve voltage quality, and reduce power loss.
In addition, digital transformation in electricity distribution and trading activities has also been actively implemented by the unit. Up to now, Dai Tu Electricity has digitized 100% of power purchase and sale contracts; standardization of customer information reaches 100%; replacing mechanical meters with electronic meters reached more than 80%…
Mr. Ma Dinh Chung, Director of Dai Tu Electricity, informed: Dai Tu Electricity is managing more than 350km of medium voltage lines, nearly 800km of low voltage lines and 309 distribution substations, with a total of more than 54.100 customers buying electricity. . Although the Electricity sector has completed its goal of bringing electricity to 100% of the district's hamlets and villages, the quality of the power grid in some areas still needs to be improved. Moreover, because the annual load demand increases by 6-8% on average, the Electricity industry always tries to renovate and upgrade the power grid to meet the demand in the area.
According to the plan, in the fourth quarter of 2023 and the first quarter of 2024, Thai Nguyen Power Company will continue to implement the project to prevent grid overload with a total investment of about 16-18 billion VND to build 12 new substations. in communes: Hoang Nong, Binh Thuan, Phu Lac, Phu Cuong, Minh Tien...
For the 0,4kV low-voltage grid, the Company plans to invest 10 billion VND to renovate and upgrade the types and cross-sections of low-voltage conductors. The completed works will overcome the low voltage situation, improve the power quality at the end of the low voltage lines, ensure the electricity demand for the people...
