Pham Phu Tuan (30 years old), residing in District 7 (Ho Chi Minh City), shared his heartfelt feelings about the special photo series he took to celebrate April 30th. Dressed in smart, neat attire, Tuan chose locations around Notre Dame Cathedral and the Reunification Hall to take photos with the national flag.

"Through this photo series, I hope to send a message about love for my country and the preciousness of the historical values that we are inheriting," Tuan said.

Grateful to our ancestors
On a weekend morning, Nguyen Anh Ngoc (26 years old), residing in District 7 (Ho Chi Minh City), went to a cafe on Dien Bien Phu Street, Binh Thanh District, Ho Chi Minh City, carrying a national flag, wearing a conical hat and a checkered scarf, and carrying a bag with the words "Independence - Freedom" to take commemorative photos on the occasion of the April 30th holiday. With this photo series, Ngoc wanted to spread the spirit of patriotism and gratitude towards previous generations.

Ngoc shared: "April 30th is an occasion for me to remember the sacrifices of our ancestors. We live in peace, independence, and freedom today thanks to the sacrifices of previous generations. I hope this photo series will contribute a small part, along with many other photo series by young people, to spreading the message of gratitude."
Huynh Thi Thanh Tam (30 years old), who works in District 3 (Ho Chi Minh City), wore an ao dai (traditional Vietnamese dress) and took photos at a cafe displaying the national flag. She shared that April is a special time, reminiscent of important historical days and an opportunity for people to honor their patriotism.

"April is not only a time to remember historical stories, but also an opportunity to remind each other of the meaning of patriotism," Tam said, adding, "Every time I see the national flag, I feel proud of my country and the responsibility of the younger generation." Tam hopes that everyone will remember and cherish past values, thereby contributing to building a better future for the country.
Nguyen Dai Hong Phuc, a student from Ngo Quyen High School ( Dong Nai province), said that recently, the female members wore pristine white ao dai (traditional Vietnamese dress), while the male members wore simple white shirts and held the national flag in their hands for their graduation photos.

"Through this graduation photo album, we want to convey our patriotism and gratitude to the previous generation who preserved the nation's independence," Phuc said.
