The People's Committee of Phu Tho province has just issued a framework for the 2024-2025 school year for preschool, general education and continuing education. Accordingly, preschool, general education and continuing education levels will start school on August 26; grade 1 will start school on August 19. The Provincial People's Committee has just issued Decision No. 993/QD-UBND on promulgating the time plan framework for the 2024-2025 school year for preschool education, general education and continuing education in the province.
Accordingly, students in the whole province will return to school at least 1 week before the opening day. For grade 1 students, they will return to school at least 2 weeks before the opening day. The new school year will start on September 5. Semester I will end before January 18, 2025, and the program will be completed and the school year will end before May 31, 2025. The school year schedule must ensure 35 weeks of actual study (semester I has 18 weeks, semester II has 17 weeks).
2024 Kon Tum school calendar
Most notably in Kon Tum: The 2024 school year for Kon Tum students is on August 26. For first graders, school starts on August 12 (implementing Vietnamese language enhancement for ethnic minority children before entering first grade). From August 19, implement "Familiarization Week" for first graders (for favorable areas).
