Her only son and his wife left many years ago, leaving her with two young grandchildren, one of whom, Chu Hoang Bach (born in 2022), has a congenital disability and is unable to care for himself. Deeply sympathetic to the family's plight, Ms. Hoang Thanh Thuy has regularly visited, encouraged, and provided some material support, helping Ms. Tuyen alleviate her daily living expenses and giving her more motivation to overcome her difficulties.
Ms. Thuy also coordinated with the neighborhood committee to guide Ms. Tuyen in preparing the disability assessment documents for her grandson Bach and submitting them to the Ward People's Committee so that he could receive social assistance at a rate of 2.4 million VND per month. Thanks to this, the lives of the three of them have improved. Ms. Tuyen emotionally recounted: "Every time Ms. Thuy visits, she takes the time to chat and ask if we have any difficulties so she can help. The three of us are very grateful."

During the most difficult times, my family received timely care and encouragement, both materially and spiritually, from the neighborhood, philanthropists, and especially the enthusiastic support of Ms. Thuy. Thanks to her, my family has overcome hardship, and my two children have received a good education and now both have stable jobs and incomes."

To date, Ms. Thuy has directly supported and connected with humanitarian organizations and units to implement many charitable programs for the poor and disadvantaged in the province, with a total amount of money and in-kind donations exceeding 150 million VND.

In many urgent cases, she also directly transported patients bitten by snakes, severely burned, or critically ill to receive timely medical treatment, contributing to saving many lives.
Ms. Hoang Thanh Thuy shared: "The work I do always receives attention, support, and active cooperation from the Party Committee, the Front Committee, political and social organizations, clubs, volunteer groups, and all members in the neighborhood, as well as from benefactors near and far. This companionship is not only a great source of spiritual motivation, but also an important condition that helps me organize and implement humanitarian and charitable activities effectively, transparently, and promptly, ensuring that they reach the right goals and target the right beneficiaries. My efforts not only fulfill the assigned tasks, but also set a shining example for younger generations of cadres and members to follow, contributing to spreading the spirit of compassion, sharing, and responsibility to the community."
