2026 marks the sixth year of the official implementation of the Humanitarian Month, held annually in May according to the policy of the Central Party Secretariat. The goal is to continue promoting the spirit and responsibility of all levels, sectors, and society as a whole towards humanitarian activities; and to further strengthen the spirit of solidarity and sharing within the community. This is not just a temporary movement, but also a call for practical, long-term action for a compassionate and civilized society, where no one is left behind.
At the launching ceremony, the People's Committee of Bai Chay Ward called for and mobilized resources from units, organizations, individuals, and businesses in the area to organize practical and timely humanitarian assistance activities, targeting near-poor households and people with difficult circumstances, contributing to ensuring social security, sustainable development, and building a compassionate community that spreads love.

The specific goals set out include supporting sustainable livelihoods for 5 beneficiary households, with a minimum support value of 5 million VND per household in 2026; commencing at least one humanitarian project or activity, valued at 80 million VND per project or activity; organizing a "Humanitarian Day" with practical activities such as supporting the construction and repair of humanitarian projects; awarding scholarships, bicycles, and school supplies to students; providing medical examinations and health consultations, etc.
Right at the launch ceremony, charitable organizations, individuals, and businesses in the area donated nearly 300 million VND, spreading a beautiful spirit of compassion throughout the community.
