Lao Cai is expected to welcome 265,200 visitors in the first days of the new spring. Sun World Fansipan Legend tourist area recorded a large number of visitors with many spring-welcoming activities, notably the Flower Flute Festival and the Fansipan Heaven Gate Spring Festival. Da Nang is expected to welcome and serve 402,000 visitors, an increase of 37% over the same period in 2023. The city is one of the destinations that welcomes a high number of international visitors with nearly 177,000. Total revenue from tourists is estimated at about 1,580 billion VND. Visitors are especially excited about the Spring Festival on Ba Na peak with spring flowers like a fairyland, traditional Tet experiences or the main show with the theme "Spring Symphony" with dances to the melody of spring. According to the tourist area, tens of thousands of visitors have come to Sun World Ba Na Hills in the first days of spring, an increase of 30% over the same period last year. The Spring Festival will last until March 31, 2024.
Kien Giang welcomes more than 44,000 international visitors, Tay Ninh records record number of visitors
From the 29th to the 5th of Tet, Kien Giang had more than 335,000 visitors coming to visit. Domestic visitors reached more than 281,000, international visitors were more than 53,500. Ba Den Mountain welcomed a record number of visitors during the 5 days of Tet.
According to the report of the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism, tourists during the Tet holiday tend to choose famous heritage, spiritual and cultural destinations in the localities.
