Nui Thanh invests 5 billion VND/year to cover electricity costs for street lighting.

Nui Thanh District has 17 communes and towns. To ensure street lighting on main roads and in some public places, the District People's Committee has assigned the District Department of Economy and Infrastructure to manage and operate 90 lighting cabinets with a total lighting line length of 193km and 5 traffic signal cabinets throughout the district.

In addition, the People's Committees of communes and towns have also invested in many lighting systems (including solar power and power lines) on local roads. These lighting systems are managed, operated, and the electricity costs are paid by the People's Committees of the communes and towns themselves.

Annually, the People's Committee of Nui Thanh District and the People's Committees of the communes and towns regularly inspect the operation of the lighting system, adjusting the brightness and dimming modes to suit the weather of each season; at the same time, they regularly maintain the equipment in the control cabinet and the entire system. Through this, they promptly handle and resolve any incidents, ensuring the safe and stable operation of the electrical system.
