Nui Thanh district has 17 communes and towns. To ensure lighting on main roads and some public places, the district People's Committee has assigned the district's Economic and Infrastructure Department to organize and operate 90 lighting cabinets with a total length of 193km of lighting lines and 5 traffic signal cabinets in the entire district.

In addition, the People's Committees of communes and towns also invest in many lighting systems (including solar power and power lines) on traffic routes managed by the locality. These lighting systems are managed, operated and paid for by the People's Committees of communes and towns.

Every year, the People's Committee of Nui Thanh district and the People's Committees of communes and towns regularly inspect the operation of the lighting system, adjust the light and dark modes to suit the weather of each season; at the same time, regularly maintain the equipment in the control cabinet and the entire system. Thereby, promptly handle and fix problems to ensure the safe and stable operation of the electrical system.
