Mr. Ho Thanh Thuy holds the position of Deputy Secretary of the Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee.

(Chinhphu.vn) - On the afternoon of September 18, the Standing Committee of the Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee held a conference to announce the Decision of the Central Party Secretariat on personnel matters.

At the conference, Comrade Huynh Quoc Viet, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee, announced Decision No. 2295-QDNS/TW dated September 6, 2025, of the Secretariat of the Central Committee.   The Central Committee of the Party has approved the appointment of Comrade Ho Thanh Thuy, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Department, as Deputy Secretary of the Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.

Speaking at the conference, Ca Mau Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Ho Hai expressed gratitude for the Central Government's attention to the province's personnel work; expressed confidence in the unity and cohesion within the Provincial Party Committee, Standing Committee, and Executive Committee, and the determination to build Ca Mau into a developed province in the right direction; and hoped that Comrade Ho Thanh Thuy would continue to strive and improve herself, working together with the provincial leadership team to bring about strong development in the coming time.

In his acceptance speech, the new Deputy Secretary of the Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee, Ho Thanh Thuy, expressed his honor and deep understanding of the important responsibility entrusted to him, especially in the context of Ca Mau having recently merged administrative units and implemented a two-tiered local government system, and preparing to organize the first Provincial Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term.

Comrade Ho Thanh Thuy pledged to make every effort, with dedication and commitment, to successfully complete her duties, and together with the Standing Committee and the Executive Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, to preserve and promote the tradition of unity and solidarity; to continuously cultivate and improve her political acumen and leadership capacity, contributing to building a clean and strong Party Committee and successfully achieving the set goals.

Comrade Ho Thanh Thuy was born in 1975 in Vinh Loi commune, Ca Mau province; she holds a master's degree in Party building and advanced political theory qualifications.

Prior to being approved as Deputy Secretary of the Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee, he held many important positions: Chairman of the Provincial Farmers' Association, Secretary of the Hoa Binh District Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Bac Lieu Provincial People's Council, and Head of the Bac Lieu Provincial Party Committee's Organization Department.

Following the merger of Bac Lieu and Ca Mau provinces into the new Ca Mau province (effective July 1, 2025), Comrade Ho Thanh Thuy was assigned to the position of Head of the Organization Department of the Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee.
