Mr. Le Anh Tan has been appointed Acting Director of the Department of Information and Communications of Vinh Phuc province.

(Dan Tri Newspaper) - Mr. Le Anh Tan, Deputy Director of the Department of Science and Technology of Vinh Phuc province, has been transferred and appointed to the position of Deputy Director of the Department of Information and Communications, and given the authority of director of this department.

On November 22nd, the People's Committee of Vinh Phuc province held a conference to announce the decision of the Chairman of the People's Committee of the province regarding personnel matters at the Department of Information and Communications (DIC).

Accordingly, the Chairman of Vinh Phuc province, Tran Duy Dong, issued a decision to transfer and appoint Mr. Le Anh Tan, Deputy Director of the Department of Science and Technology, to the position of Deputy Director of the Department of Information and Communications and assigned him the authority of director of this department.

Mr. Nguyen Tat Sang, Deputy Chief of the Office of the People's Committee of Vinh Phuc province, has been transferred and appointed to the position of Deputy Director of the Department of Information and Communications of Vinh Phuc province.

Presenting the appointment decisions, Mr. Tran Duy Dong affirmed that this reflects the trust and confidence that the leaders of Vinh Phuc province have placed in these two officials.

In their new positions, Mr. Tan and Mr. Sang must continue to strive, make good use of their abilities and intelligence, and work together with the leadership and staff of the Department of Information and Communications to successfully complete all assigned tasks.

While emphasizing that Vinh Phuc has focused on promoting the development of digital government, digital economy , and digital society in recent years, the Chairman of Vinh Phuc province assessed that the province's digital transformation efforts have not been strong enough and have not met the requirements.

Therefore, Mr. Dong requested that the Department of Information and Communications proactively advise the Provincial People's Committee on state management in this field. The tasks and targets of the sector also need to be reviewed; advice should be given on effectively implementing digital transformation, building a digital economy, digital society, digital citizens, and applying AI technology to various aspects of life.

In his acceptance speech, Acting Director of the Department of Information and Communications Le Anh Tan pledged to strive, learn diligently, and dedicate all his abilities, intellect, and passion to working with the agency's team to successfully complete the assigned tasks.
