Mr. Pham Nhat Vuong completed transferring 48 million VIC shares to contribute capital to Vinspeed.

Vinspeed High-Speed Railway Investment and Development Joint Stock Company has just announced the report on the results of stock transactions of related persons of insiders. Specifically, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Vingroup Corporation Pham Nhat Vuong reported the completion of the transaction to transfer ownership of more than 48 million Vingroup shares (stock code: VIC), equivalent to 1.24% of capital to contribute capital to VinSpeed.

The transaction was carried out by transferring ownership through the Vietnam Securities Depository and Clearing Corporation (VSDC) in the session of June 10.

On the stock exchange, VIC shares, after hitting the floor price at the beginning of the week on June 9, recovered slightly on June 10, reaching VND90,600/share. At this price, the shares contributed by Mr. Pham Nhat Vuong to VinSpeed are worth more than VND4,300 billion.

VinSpeed High-Speed Railway Investment and Development Joint Stock Company was registered on May 6. Information from the National Business Registration Portal shows that Vinspeed has a charter capital of VND6,000 billion.

The company's headquarters is located in Vinhomes Riverside Urban Area, Long Bien District, Hanoi City. VinSpeed has registered 10 business lines. Of which, the main business line is railway construction, specifically including railway construction and railway industrial construction.

Other businesses also related to the railway industry include passenger transport, cargo handling, catering services, engine and turbine manufacturing, locomotive, tram and wagon manufacturing.

The 6 founding shareholders include organizations and individuals, including: Vingroup Corporation contributed 600 billion VND, owning 10% of shares; Vietnam Investment Group Joint Stock Company contributed 2,100 billion VND, owning 35% of shares; Ms. Pham Thuy Hang (Vice Chairwoman of Vingroup Corporation) contributed 180 billion VND, owning 3% of shares; Mr. Pham Nhat Vuong contributed 3,060 billion VND, owning 51% of shares; Mr. Pham Nhat Minh Hoang and Pham Nhat Quan Anh each contributed 30 billion VND, owning 0.5% of shares.

Mr. Pham Nhat Vuong is the General Director and Legal Representative of VinSpeed.

Recently, VinSpeed officially registered to invest in the North-South high-speed railway project. The project has an investment capital of about 1.5 million billion VND (equivalent to about 61.35 billion USD), excluding compensation costs, relocation support, and resettlement for site clearance.

Of which, VinSpeed is responsible for arranging 20% of the total investment capital of the project, equivalent to 312 trillion VND (about 12.27 billion USD). For the remaining 80% (excluding compensation costs, relocation support, and resettlement for site clearance), VinSpeed proposes to borrow interest-free State capital within 35 years from the date of disbursement.

On the same day, June 11, Vingroup issued a Resolution approving Vingroup to join the consortium and sign a consortium contract with VinEnergo Energy Joint Stock Company to jointly invest in the Hai Phong LNG Thermal Power Plant Project in Tan Trao Industrial Park, Kien Thuy District, Hai Phong City.

Mr. Pham Nhat Vuong has registered to transfer ownership of nearly 71 million VIC shares, equivalent to 1.24% of Vingroup's capital, to contribute capital to VinEnergo.
