The delegation offered incense to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh and predecessors in the field of journalism, who laid the foundation for Vietnam's revolutionary journalism.

76 years ago, on April 4, 1949, implementing President Ho Chi Minh's Directive, the first journalism training class was held at this location, marking the birth of Huynh Thuc Khang Journalism School.

Although it only operated for 3 months, that small school became a symbol of the spirit of revolutionary journalism: writing with ideals, fighting with a pen, serving the revolution with heart and courage.

Journalist Phan Huu Minh, former member of the Standing Committee and Head of the Inspection Committee of the Vietnam Journalists Association, introduced the Monument.

During the working trip, the delegation also explored the system of press relics in Thai Nguyen , the cradle of Vietnam's revolutionary press, with four important historical sites including: the birthplace of the Vietnam Journalists Association; the place where the first issue of the Truth Newspaper - the predecessor of Nhan Dan Newspaper - was published; the birthplace of the People's Army Newspaper and the birthplace of the Literature and Arts for National Salvation Magazine.

For VTV8, the main unit in producing information and propagating political, economic, cultural and social issues of the Central Highlands region, the journey back to the source is an opportunity for the team of journalists to review the tradition of revolutionary journalism, arousing the spirit of dedication and professional awareness for a professional, humane and modern journalism.
