REGIONAL DEFENSE COMMAND IN VINH LONG Improve the quality and efficiency of operations

In the context that the whole country is promoting the organization and arrangement of the political system to be streamlined and operate effectively and efficiently, the consolidation of local military agencies associated with the 2-level government model is being synchronously deployed by the Ministry of National Defense nationwide.

Military Region 9 inspects the implementation of local military organization tasks when implementing two-level local government.

This is not only an objective requirement to meet the task of building and protecting the Fatherland in the new situation, but also a strategic step to ensure that local armed forces are strong enough, mobile enough and ready to respond to all situations.

From that request, the Ministry of National Defense proposed to the Government to dissolve the district-level military command (CHQS) and establish a regional defense command (CHPTKV) with the motto "firm in organization, firm in mission". The new model ensures both good completion of tasks in peacetime and proactive combat plans when necessary.

In the province, the decision to establish 3 Border Guard Commands under the Provincial Military Command, including Border Guard Command 1 - Nguyet Hoa, Border Guard Command 2 - Son Dong, Border Guard Command 3 - Ngai Tu and Border Guard Command, was promptly and synchronously deployed. Right from the establishment, the units quickly completed their organization, stabilized their stations, ensured living and working conditions, and soon got into order, promoting initial effectiveness.

In reality, the process of forming and operating the CHPTKV boards in Vinh Long was carefully prepared in terms of personnel, facilities and coordination mechanisms.

The Party Committee - Provincial Military Command has strictly followed the direction of the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense; synchronously deployed organizational arrangements suitable to the characteristics of the 2-level government model. Thanks to that, up to now, the CHPTKV committees have operated stably and smoothly, ensuring absolute safety and well meeting the requirements of the tasks.

At the 3rd Military Command Committee - Ngai Tu, Senior Lieutenant Colonel Cao Thanh Trieu - Deputy Commander, Chief of Staff, said: "From the first day of operation, the command committee has organized to disseminate and deploy the system of documents, regulations and tasks of the Provincial Military Command; united to overcome difficulties, quickly stabilize and maintain work efficiency.

At the same time, build a complete system of combat readiness documents (SSCD), guide the commune-level military command to complete the SSCD documents according to regulations; maintain strict SSCD, grasp the area, avoid being surprised; coordinate with communes to propagate the position, functions and tasks of the CHPTKV committee". This sharing shows that being proactive from the preparation stage to implementation is the factor that helps the unit quickly catch up with the new tasks.

Not only in Ngai Tu, but in each unit, initiative and creativity are also shown in the way of operation. After stabilizing the organization, the CHPTKV 1- Nguyet Hoa paid synchronous attention to everything from facilities, military equipment to accommodation and working places.

Thanks to careful preparation, the unit soon maintained order, discipline and efficiency. Colonel Nguyen Van Trach - Commander, emphasized: "We strictly follow the Party and State's policies, military discipline and unit regulations; ensure combat readiness and guard duty according to regulations.

The unit builds the SSCĐ documents, working regulations, assigns each member to be in charge of the commune and ward; guides the commune-level Military Command to properly perform its functions and tasks; and at the same time cares about the material and spiritual life so that officers and soldiers can work with peace of mind." It can be said that this is a clear demonstration of the combination between building the organization and caring for people.

Similarly, the 2nd Shandong Regional Command also clearly defined its goals from the beginning. After stabilizing its staff and assigning specific tasks, the unit quickly built a combat readiness training plan that closely met actual requirements.

Lieutenant Colonel Tran Ba Tien - Political Commissar, shared: "We focus on building solidarity, strictly managing ideological situations, enhancing responsibility and exemplary behavior of cadres and party members; promoting the Emulation movement to win in conjunction with central political tasks".

The combination of improving political and ideological quality and performing professional tasks has created a solid foundation for the unit.

A common point that is easily seen in all 3 CHPTKV departments is that in parallel with organizational and ideological work, the units all focus on ensuring logistics and techniques. From the beginning, the units proactively renovated the barracks, ensuring clean and beautiful living and working places; promoted increased production, and improved meals for soldiers.

This is not only a simple material condition, but also contributes to stabilizing psychology, improving morale, and creating motivation for officers and soldiers to complete their tasks well.

Colonel Tran Minh Trang - Commander of the Provincial Military Command, affirmed: "The Party Committee - Provincial Military Command continues to direct the good implementation of propaganda, education, and ideological orientation work; quickly perfect the organization, build a system of combat readiness documents of the Regional Command and Commune Military Command; re-examine and perfect the militia and self-defense forces, and reserve mobilization forces according to regulations; coordinate with the Party Committee and commune-level authorities in commanding and directing local military and defense tasks."

This is a commitment to maintain continuity and synchronization, leaving no gaps in leadership and direction in implementing local military and defense tasks.

It can be affirmed that with the attention and close direction of the Provincial Military Command, the CHPTKV committees in Vinh Long have effectively implemented both organization, facilities, regular discipline and combat readiness work, closely coordinating with local forces.

Initial activities show the effectiveness of the new model, contributing to improving the capacity of staff and combat command in the defense area.

The stability and effectiveness of the CHPTKV committees not only meet the requirements of military and defense tasks, but are also an important factor in maintaining political security, social order and safety, consolidating people's trust in the provincial armed forces, and creating a solid foundation for building an all-people national defense posture in the new situation.
