Previously, at about 11:30 a.m. on November 10, fishing boat TH-90073-TS with 7 crew members, captained by Mr. Le Cong Dung (born in 1980, in Ngoc Son ward, Thanh Hoa province), sank about 3 nautical miles east of Hon La Port. Mr. Le Cong Hau's boat TH-91812-TS, which was operating nearby, discovered it, promptly responded to the rescue and reported it to the Border Guard Station of Hon La Port.

Upon receiving the news, Roon Border Guard Station directed its forces to maintain communication with the ship and organize the reception of the fishermen. At the same time, they sent military medics to directly support and examine their health. Currently, all 7 crew members are healthy and safe.
Captain Le Cong Dung said: Fishing boat TH-90073-TS has a capacity of 294.4 CV, 17m long; leaving Mui Ong fishing port (Phuc Trach commune, Quang Tri province) on November 10, 2025, after working and producing, the crew anchored the boat to sleep and discovered that water had entered more than half of the boat, unable to handle it, so they called each other to put on life jackets and leave the boat when the boat completely sank.
