Gifts carry love
In the campus of Loc Ninh Primary School, the “Small Planning House” is located in an easily visible location, both as a collection point for scrap paper, cans, and plastic bottles, and as a symbol reminding each student of the meaning of green living, saving, and loving. Propaganda activities are regularly deployed during flag-raising hours, Team activities, and extracurricular activities. Through this, students clearly understand that each plastic bottle or each piece of discarded paper can become a resource to help poor friends.
The collection and classification of waste is maintained regularly, thereby forming good habits in each classroom and each family.
Dang Thai Bao, a student of class 3E, shared that he always brings scrap paper to school to contribute to the "Small Planning House". "Contributing a small part but bringing joy to friends, I feel that it is very meaningful. Every time I put cans or scrap paper into the "Small Planning House", I know I have just done a good thing". It is from these simple actions that the model has created a sustainable foundation of humanity in school life.

Stories from the fund of the "Small Plan House" model have touched the hearts of many people. Among them, the case of Tran Dinh Quan, a student of class 4C, left many emotions. Quan has a leg disability and a serious illness, and his family is in difficult circumstances, so moving to school is a big challenge. The wheelchair given by the school from the fund of the "Small Plan House" model has opened a new door for him.
Mr. Tran Dinh Vinh, Quan's parent, emotionally said: "This wheelchair is something our family has longed for, but due to circumstances, we have not been able to afford it. Now that we have received the attention of teachers and students, we are truly grateful. It is not only a means for our child to move around more easily, but also a motivation for him to confidently continue going to school and continue trying."
Similarly, Nguyen Hoang Nhung, a student in class 3C, who suffered from congenital paralysis, also received a new wheelchair from the model. Since receiving the wheelchair, Nhung's journey to class has become easier, and she has become more confident in integrating with her friends.
Mr. Nguyen The Hieu, Hoang Nhung's parent, shared that the school's attention not only helps his child's daily life but is also a great source of encouragement for the whole family.
Spreading community responsibility
The model does not only stop at the school but also reaches out to the wider community. Loc Ninh Primary School's Union has supported 3 million VND for ethnic minority students in Rao Con village and 3 million VND to help students in Lang Nu ( Lao Cai province) overcome the consequences of natural disasters. The Union also allocated a fund to build a "Safe and Happy School Gate" project worth 15 million VND, contributing to building a green, clean, beautiful and friendly school environment.
After more than three years of implementation, students of Loc Ninh Primary School have collected more than 260 thousand cans, plastic bottles and many other types of recyclable waste, raising more than 78 million VND. In addition, thanks to the support of parents, philanthropists and alumni, the total fund has reached nearly 105 million VND. From this fund, the school's Union has given 180 gifts for the Mid-Autumn Festival, 90 gifts in the "Spring of Love" program, 3 wheelchairs, 15 bicycles to disadvantaged students; at the same time, awarded full scholarships and monthly support until they graduate. These gifts not only have material value but also contain messages of love and support to help students have more determination to excel in their studies and life.
Along with the “Small Plan House” model, the “Raising a piggy bank to support poor friends” movement has also been maintained effectively, with the total amount of savings over the past three years reaching more than 63 million VND. The most valuable thing is to form the habit of saving and the spirit of sharing in each student. Teacher Nguyen Dang Khoa, Head of the Loc Ninh Primary School Youth Union, affirmed that education through practical actions always has a more lasting influence than any lecture. When students contribute to their friends with their own hands, the lesson of love will stay in their souls for a long time.
It can be affirmed that the model “Small Planned House” has been spreading positive, practical and deeply humane values. From used items, small hands have opened doors of hope for their friends. We believe that in the coming time, the model will continue to be replicated, contributing to building a generation of students who are not only good-natured and good at studying but also know how to love, share and live responsibly with the community.
