Communication on legal aid for people with disabilities

On the morning of November 11, in Phan Rang ward, the Khanh Hoa Provincial State Legal Aid Center organized a media conference on legal aid for people with disabilities in 2025. The conference had nearly 200 delegates from the wards of Do Vinh, Bao An, Phan Rang, Dong Hai, and Ninh Chu attending.

The reporter conveyed the basic content of the 2010 Law on Persons with Disabilities to the delegates.

At the conference, delegates were equipped with the 2010 Law on Persons with Disabilities and documents regulating rights and policies for persons with disabilities; introduced the right to free legal aid according to the provisions of the 2017 Law on Legal Aid and documents guiding its implementation; and provided advice and answered questions about the law directly for persons with disabilities.

Through the conference, the aim is to propagate and disseminate legal policies directly related to people with disabilities, thereby raising awareness and creating conditions for people with disabilities to access free legal aid services according to regulations; ensuring that 100% of people with disabilities eligible for legal aid when encountering legal problems and having requests will be provided with free services in a timely and quality manner. At the same time, enhance the responsibility of organizations, unions and localities in guiding, introducing and supporting people with disabilities to benefit from free legal aid policies.
