On July 31, 2024, at the People's Committee of Vinh Phuc province, the People's Council of Vinh Phuc province, term XVII, term 2021 - 2026, held the 17th session to consider personnel decisions under the authority of the Provincial People's Council. At the session, the delegates of the Provincial People's Council voted to elect the position of Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, dismiss and remove 2 Vice Chairmen of the Provincial People's Committee. Mr. Tran Duy Dong was elected to hold the position of Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, term XVII, term 2021 - 2026.
