Mr. Tran Phong was elected Chairman of Quang Binh Provincial People's Committee.

(NADS) - On the morning of December 11, at the 19th session of the 18th Quang Binh Provincial People's Council (term 2021-2026), delegates unanimously elected Mr. Tran Phong, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, to hold the position of Chairman of the Quang Binh Provincial People's Committee for the term 2021-2026.

Mr. Tran Phong was elected by the Provincial People's Council as Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Binh province.

The meeting took place in Dong Hoi City with the participation of 44 delegates of the Provincial People's Council. As a result, Mr. Tran Phong received 100% of the votes in favor, affirming the high trust of the delegates.

Previously, on December 10, the Quang Binh Provincial Party Executive Committee held a conference on personnel work and unanimously elected Mr. Tran Phong to hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.

Mr. Tran Phong, born in 1974 in Quang Phuong commune, Quang Trach district, Quang Binh province, has a high level of political theory and a university degree in general business administration, and a master's degree in economics. He has held many important positions such as Vice Chairman of Bo Trach District People's Committee, Director of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and Secretary of Dong Hoi City Party Committee.

In his new position, Mr. Tran Phong is expected to lead the People's Committee of Quang Binh province to successfully implement socio -economic development goals, bringing the locality to further development.
