At the 13th session, delegates of Dong Thap Provincial People's Council voted to elect Mr. Tran Tri Quang - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, acting Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee as Chairman of Dong Thap Provincial People's Committee for the 2021 - 2026 term, with 50/50 delegates present in agreement.
Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Mr. Tran Tri Quang - the new Chairman of Dong Thap Provincial People's Committee thanked the Provincial People's Council delegates for their trust.
Mr. Tran Tri Quang promised to promote the achievements of previous generations, continue to build Dong Thap - the beautiful and developed land of pink lotus.
Previously, on March 27, Mr. Tran Tri Quang - Acting Chairman of Dong Thap Provincial People's Committee was approved by the Central Party Secretariat to hold the position of Deputy Secretary of Dong Thap Provincial Party Committee.
Mr. Tran Tri Quang was born in 1977, hometown Cao Lanh City (Dong Thap); professional qualification: Master of Traffic Construction.
Mr. Quang has held the following positions: Vice Chairman of Sa Dec City People's Committee; Deputy Director and then Director of Dong Thap Department of Transport; Secretary of Cao Lanh City Party Committee; Vice Chairman of Dong Thap Provincial People's Committee.
On March 3, Dong Thap Provincial People's Committee held a conference to announce the Prime Minister 's Decision on assigning the position of Chairman of Dong Thap Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term to Mr. Tran Tri Quang - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee (until the position of Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee is completed).
