Petrovietnam received the First Class Labor Medal

Also at the ceremony, Politburo member and Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh awarded the First Class Labor Medal to comrade Le Manh Hung, Party Secretary and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Petrovietnam.

At the same time, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh also awarded the Second Class Labor Medal to individuals: Comrade Le Ngoc Son - General Director and Comrade Le Manh Cuong - Deputy General Director of Petrovietnam; awarded the Third Class Labor Medal to individuals: Comrade Tran Quang Dung - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Comrade Le Xuan Huyen - Deputy General Director and Comrade Vu Dao Minh - Head of Petrovietnam Oil and Gas Exploration and Exploitation Department.

After 50 years of construction and development, Petrovietnam has affirmed its position as a pillar of the national energy industry, associated with great and proud achievements. From the early difficult days until now, the Group has exploited more than 441 million tons of oil and 196 billion m³ of gas, contributing significantly to ensuring energy security, stably meeting 60-70% of gasoline demand, 70-80% of civil gas demand and supplying about 10% of the country's electricity output. With an increasingly large scale, Petrovietnam has achieved a total cumulative revenue of 605 billion USD, paid more than 142 billion USD to the state budget, becoming an important economic resource of the country. By 2025, the Group will have total assets exceeding 1 million billion VND, equity of over 556 trillion VND, and be one of the leading enterprises in the region.

In addition to the production and business results, Petrovietnam has completed the mission of "5 An": maintaining energy security, ensuring economic security, contributing to food security through fertilizer plants supplying 70-80% of the country's demand, affirming its role in protecting national security and defense in the East Sea, and always being the fulcrum of social security with tens of thousands of billions of VND in community support. At the same time, the Group also affirmed its position with "5 Nhat": the largest enterprise, the highest budget contribution, the highest profit, the most science and technology awards, and the most outstanding social security activities among state-owned economic groups.

In the field of science and technology, Petrovietnam is the only enterprise in the state-owned enterprise sector to have been awarded the Ho Chi Minh Prize and the State Prize for Science and Technology many times, and owns dozens of domestic and international inventions, affirming its research and innovation capacity. In terms of social security, in the period of 2020-2025 alone, the Group has spent more than VND 5,130 billion on social security work, built over 10,000 Great Solidarity houses, supported hundreds of schools, medical stations, bridges and roads, contributing to improving the lives of millions of people nationwide.
