Traffic diversion ensures traffic safety for the event of the Ceremony to announce and receive the certificate of ranking as a special national monument of Po Nagar Tower

Khanh Hoa Department of Construction has just sent a document to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism approving the temporary dismantling of the median strip on National Highway 1C (April 2nd Street) in front of the special national relic of Po Nagar Tower to organize the ceremony to announce and receive the certificate of ranking Po Nagar Tower as a special national relic and the national intangible cultural heritage of Khanh Hoa Agarwood Exploitation and Processing Knowledge. The dismantling time is from 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. on July 10. During the dismantling period, before and after the palanquin procession, the Center for Monument Conservation will coordinate with Khanh Hoa Traffic Management and Construction Joint Stock Company (the unit that regularly manages and maintains the route) and related units to organize traffic flow to ensure traffic safety, security and order; take measures to barricade and not allow vehicles to pass through the dismantled section; take full responsibility before the law if any incident occurs.

Previously, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism had a document requesting permission to temporarily remove the median strip on the 2/4 Street section in front of the Po Nagar Tower Gate during the procession following the route "Po Nagar Tower - Thap Ba Street - Cu Huan Street (Cai River embankment) - Po Nagar Tower. The temporary removal of the median strip will allow the festival to be organized smoothly and safely. After the lantern releasing ceremony ends, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism will coordinate with the construction unit to restore the original state to ensure traffic flow and avoid traffic congestion.

As planned, on the evening of July 10, at the special national relic of Po Nagar Tower (Northern Nha Trang ward), the Ceremony to announce and receive the certificate of ranking Po Nagar Tower as a special national relic and the national intangible cultural heritage of Khanh Hoa Agarwood Exploitation and Processing Knowledge will take place. At the event, there will be 2 special art programs including: "Legend of Motherland" and "Pride of thousand-year cultural heritage" to welcome Khanh Hoa province into a new era, an era of opportunity to rise up with the nation.

The event will be broadcast live by Khanh Hoa Newspaper, Radio and Television from 8:10 p.m. on KTV and KTV1; and livestreamed on Facebook fanpages: Khanh Hoa Television, Khanh Hoa Newspaper, KTV - Connection and Development.
