The temporary traffic diversion aims to ensure safety during the construction of phase 2 of the Phu Thu intersection and connecting road project in Tien Hiep commune, Phu Ly city.
The Vietnam Expressway Investment and Development Corporation (VEC) – the unit managing the route – announced that the traffic diversion will begin on July 17th.

Specifically, for vehicles traveling from Hanoi to Ninh Binh, upon seeing sign R.301d "vehicles are only allowed to turn right" (at Km225+920), they should turn right onto the highway access ramp (the newly constructed ramp).
After that, vehicles travel another 900m and see a sign indicating "highway exit; rest stop entrance" (at Km226+840). Choose one of the two directions to head towards Ninh Binh.
For vehicles traveling from Ninh Binh to Hanoi, upon seeing sign R.301d "vehicles are only allowed to turn right" (at Km227+400), turn right onto the highway exit/entrance section (newly constructed section). After another 50 meters, upon seeing the sign indicating "highway exit; rest stop entrance" (at Km227+300), choose one of the two directions to reach Hanoi.
VEC notes that the permitted speed for vehicles passing through the project's construction area is no more than 60km/h. Vehicles traveling on the route who encounter problems or notice unusual events should contact the hotline staff at 19001838 (available 24/7).
