In the digital transformation era, office software services are indispensable for Vietnamese businesses. With increasingly high standards for copyright and product quality, this cost is not small for many companies. Google with G Suite or Microsoft 365 are still familiar solutions for domestic users.
Zoho, a multinational software company headquartered in India, recently opened its first office in Vietnam. The company has emerged as one of the cheapest full-package solution providers in the market, targeting small and medium-sized organizations. Zoho’s applications cost 1/3-1/5 of similar options from Google or Microsoft.
The company provides basic Zoho Workplace, with 10 main applications such as email, editing, spreadsheets, presentations, storage and messaging... The premium Zoho One package expands to 45 apps, including more detailed business management tools such as CRM, advertising, human resources, finance...

Workplace products start at $3 per user. Similar products from Microsoft 365 start at $6 for Teams. Google Workplace Business Starter also starts at $7 . The cost of paying for the solution from the Indian company is 37-57% cheaper in this case.
Speaking with Tri Thuc - Znews, Mr. Gibu Mathew, Vice President and Managing Director of Asia - Pacific of Zoho, said that the company attaches great importance to the security factor in its products. They are committed to not collecting user data. The servers are built by the company itself instead of outsourcing, ensuring autonomy, scalability and security.
“We have 14 data centers globally. Zoho has not built a data center in Vietnam. However, we have ensured connectivity for partners, and there has been no slow response,” said Mr. Gibu.
In Vietnam, some typical customers using Zoho's services revealed by Mr. Gibu include National Citizen Bank (NCB) and RMIT University Vietnam.
The enterprise software market is a “piece of cake” that many IT companies are eyeing. Zoho currently has a price advantage when placed next to giants like Microsoft and Google, however, in Vietnam, many domestic startups also use a low-cost strategy to reach users. Base, Misa , and FastWork are domestic units participating in this segment.
