Artificial intelligence (AI) is infiltrating music , from songwriting and arrangement to performance. This trend is also booming in many countries, sparking heated debates.
Regarding this issue, diva Thanh Lam shared with a reporter from Dan Tri newspaper : "AI is a part of life, but it can never equal human creativity. Humans have emotions; how can technology compare?"
The female artist added: "Some people jokingly say that 'robots will sing better than professional singers, even Thanh Lam.' However, when working directly with AI-powered audio software, I realized that artificial intelligence can't compete with the human brain and heart."

Despite the rapid development of technology, Thanh Lam remains steadfast in her commitment to emotional values in music, a quality that has helped her maintain her popularity throughout nearly four decades of singing. Currently, the singer of "Giọt nắng bên thềm" (A Drop of Sunshine on the Threshold) still regularly appears in major art programs, affirming her position as a leading diva.
Recently, Thanh Lam was announced to be participating in the Jazz Concert - IMMERSER , a special concert bringing together leading names in the world of jazz music.
Notably, the program features "Jazz Knight" Niels Lan Doky, a Vietnamese-born pianist of international stature who has performed at Carnegie Hall (USA), Royal Albert Hall (UK), and Blue Note (Japan).
In addition, two renowned artists - Felix Pastorius (bass guitar, USA) and Jonas Johansen (drums, Denmark) - will also be performing in Ho Chi Minh City on November 15th.

Thanh Lam revealed that she collaborated with Niels Lan Doky more than 20 years ago on the album Asian Sessions , when she was only 30 years old and had just given birth to her third child.
"This time, you've returned to Vietnam, and I'm so happy to be reunited with you. At the upcoming concert, I'll be singing songs that were previously recorded on your CD. I'm feeling both nervous and excited," the diva shared.
During the concert, Thanh Lam also had a special duet with Ha Tran. "Both of us discussed the performance thoroughly. Jazz singing allows us to sing within a wide range, full of improvisation, so I believe that when we stand on stage with Ha Tran, we will let our emotions guide us," the female singer said.

Diva Thanh Lam also praised director Pham Hoang Nam, who was in charge of staging the show, as someone who is "a perfectionist and meticulous".
"I'm also a perfectionist, so I believe we'll work well together. With an audience of only about 500 guests and such a talented group of artists, everyone is putting pressure on themselves to create a truly perfect concert," Thanh Lam added.
