In celebration of the 80th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the Ha Tinh Armed Forces (August 18, 1945 - August 18, 2025), the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism in coordination with the Provincial Military Command issued a Plan to coordinate the launch of the Songwriting Contest about the Ha Tinh Armed Forces with the theme: " Ha Tinh Armed Forces - Forever resounding heroic epic".
Contestants are professional and non-professional musicians, officers and soldiers of the armed forces and people inside and outside the province (members of the Organizing Committee, Jury, and Secretariat are not allowed to participate).
Each author or group of authors can submit no more than 2 entries.
The content of the contest is to reflect and introduce the 80-year tradition of building, fighting and growing of the Ha Tinh armed forces; praise the image and qualities of "Uncle Ho's soldiers", militia and self-defense forces, and the People's Public Security in the homeland of Ha Tinh; the results of building a solid national defense and people's security posture.
Activities of the Ha Tinh armed forces join hands to build new rural areas; eliminate hunger and reduce poverty; eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses; be the frontline force in preventing natural disasters and epidemics...; the blood-based solidarity relationship between officers and soldiers of the provincial armed forces and the people in the area.
Entries must be typed or handwritten clearly with musical notation, Vietnamese lyrics on A4 paper and 1 CD recording of the song or USB containing high-quality song files (including music and lyrics) via the following methods: direct receipt or by post.

The contest aims to attract and encourage professional and non-professional musicians to compose songs about the Ha Tinh Armed Forces, thereby selecting musical products with high content and artistic quality, expressing the unique characteristics of the provincial armed forces, contributing to propaganda, encouragement and motivation for officers, soldiers of the armed forces and the people in performing military, defense and security tasks, building a strong national defense. At the same time, introducing the typical traditions of the provincial Armed Forces in terms of the image and qualities of Uncle Ho's soldiers, the People's Public Security in the homeland of Ha Tinh; the relationship of solidarity between the army and the people...
