The Vietnam Digital Transformation Award has been held annually since 2018, sponsored by the Ministry of Science and Technology (formerly the Ministry of Information and Communications ), directed by VDCA, and assigned to VietTimes Electronic Magazine, the mouthpiece of VDCA, to organize.
The highlight of VDA 2025 is that for the first time there is an award structure to honor individuals with great achievements, contributions, influence and special influence in promoting the application of digital technology and digital transformation in Vietnam.
In addition, VDA 2025 continues to honor agencies and enterprises that have made positive and effective contributions to developing the digital economy and improving management and operation efficiency; building a digital government, developing the digital economy and digital society; making Vietnam a strong country in information technology and communications.

Over the past 7 seasons, the Vietnam Digital Transformation Award has reached more than 21,000 domestic and foreign agencies, organizations and enterprises, attracting nearly 2,200 entries. The award has honored more than 400 outstanding state agencies, digital transformation enterprises and typical digital technology products and solutions.
Within the framework of the award, VietTimes will organize seminars and forums to create a bridge between businesses, agencies, application organizations and technology enterprises, in order to contribute to strongly promoting the process of National Digital Transformation, with the goal of building Vietnam into a leading digital country in the region and the world.
This year's award is also a practical activity responding to the spirit of Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW dated December 22, 2024 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation and the 2025 theme of the National Committee on Digital Transformation: "Comprehensive digital transformation to develop the digital economy, creating new momentum for economic growth".
In addition, this is also a meaningful program in response to National Digital Transformation Day on October 10, contributing to raising awareness among people and the whole society about the role, meaning and benefits of digital transformation.

State agencies at all levels need to be pioneers and leaders in digital transformation to better serve people and businesses. VDA 2025 continues to discover and honor outstanding state agencies and businesses in digital transformation, in addition to typical digital transformation products and solutions.
Mr. Nguyen Ba Kien, Deputy Head of the Standing Steering Committee, Head of the Organizing Committee of VDA 2025, Editor-in-Chief of VietTimes Electronic Magazine said that the "Honoring individuals" category is an important new highlight of the 8th Vietnam Digital Transformation Award - Vietnam Digital Awards 2025.
The Organizing Committee set specific criteria for the "Honoring Individuals" award category. In particular, individuals to be honored must meet voting criteria such as having outstanding achievements in digital transformation activities; having prestige, influence and reach in the industry, field and community; demonstrating a leadership role in creating strong changes in the digital transformation of the locality and region; having great contributions to the development of digital transformation, digital economy and digital society...", said Mr. Nguyen Ba Kien.
Talking about the positive motivations of the Vietnam Digital Transformation Award, Director of the Department of Registration of Secured Transactions and State Compensation (Ministry of Justice) Cu Thu Anh said: "The Department always puts the interests of people and businesses as the goal and center of all activities. And being awarded the Vietnam Digital Transformation Award has encouraged the Department to continue promoting online public services, improving the quality of service for people and businesses, thereby contributing to promoting the economic and social development of the country.
From that recognition, the Department will continue to research and perfect the Online Registration System in connecting and sharing data with a number of agencies registering security measures using other types of assets to facilitate people and businesses and improve the efficiency of state management. Along with that, the Department continues to deploy the application of artificial intelligence (AI) technology in the process of registration and providing information on security measures.
Vietnam Digital Awards is the most prestigious and prestigious award program on digital transformation in Vietnam today. From Vietnam Digital Awards, individuals, units, organizations and businesses have continuously developed and contributed positively to the national digital transformation.
The Organizing Committee said that VDA 2025 is being promoted by the Organizing Committee through LED screen systems and elevator Poster Frame systems in more than 300 high-end office buildings and luxury apartment complexes in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang and Hai Phong. This is to create a touch point and attract the support of leaders of organizations, businesses and individuals for the digital transformation in Vietnam.
