Release of promotional song for Asian Games 19

The MV showcases iconic landscapes and magnificent scenery from across Asia, showcasing inspiring images of Asian people with different skin colors and from different regions uniting to build an increasingly prosperous Asia.

It was supposed to be held every 4 years and 2022 was the year for the 19th Asian Games . However, the Covid-19 pandemic forced the Games to be postponed to this year, but the name is still attached to the usual time, Asian Games 2022.

The Games will feature competition from Asia's top athletes.

Hangzhou is the third Chinese city to host the continent’s most prestigious sporting event. This third edition is expected to leave a lasting impression on athletes and coaches from 45 countries and regions.

The chosen symbol of the Games is an image of rising tides, designed like a fan, reflecting the success of socialism with Chinese characteristics, creating momentum in the new era and representing the unity, solidarity and development of the members of the Olympic Council of Asia.

The torch will be lit during the competition days at the Games.

In the preface to the Congress’s charter sent to the countries, the Congress organizing committee said that Hangzhou would welcome friends from the continent with open arms, warmth and enthusiasm. Therefore, the Congress’s slogan is “Heart to Heart, @ Future”.

This slogan was chosen because it expresses the desire to welcome friends from the continent with warm feelings and is suitable for Hangzhou's strength as an internet city. The slogan also conveys the message that athletes from countries in the continent can understand each other more deeply through the 2022 Asian Games.

The host country sends greetings to the countries attending the Congress.

The Asian Games are held to celebrate the unity, progress, harmony and common prosperity of the members of the Olympic Council of Asia family and to inspire athletes, representing the continent's youth, to be confident, optimistic and undaunted in the face of difficulties and challenges.

This slogan also fits with the Olympic motto “faster, higher, stronger - together” to create a better future for the community of nations in the Asian region and the world . The mascots of the Games will be 3 adorable robot superheroes named Congcong, Lianlian and Chenchen.

The congress will be held from September 23 to October 8.
