The dominant red and yellow colors of the national flag further highlight the image of the great leader, an immortal symbol of patriotism, self-reliance, and the desire for peace.

The stamp block features the national emblem and map of the homeland, affirming sacred sovereignty over the sea and islands, against a backdrop of bronze drum imagery that evokes the profound cultural and historical depth of the Vietnamese nation over a thousand years.

The stamps are 32x43mm in size; the blocks are 80x100mm in size, with face values of VND 4,000 and VND 19,000 respectively. The stamp set was designed by artist Nguyen Du (Vietnam Post Corporation); it will be available nationwide at provincial and city post offices, centers, and transaction post offices from August 26, 2025 to June 30, 2027.
The postage stamp set "Commemorating the 80th Anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 – September 2, 2025)" not only represents a momentous historical milestone, the day President Ho Chi Minh read the Declaration of Independence, giving birth to the Democratic Republic of Vietnam, but also affirms the sovereignty, freedom, independence, solidarity, indomitable will, and national pride of Vietnam throughout the past 80 years.

The stamp set also conveys a message of boundless gratitude for the immense contributions of the great President Ho Chi Minh, the brilliant leader of the Party and the Vietnamese nation, along with revolutionary predecessors and millions of heroes and martyrs who bravely fought and sacrificed for the independence, sovereignty, unity, and territorial integrity of the Fatherland.
