Simultaneous transformation according to the roadmap.
Attending the conference were representatives from the People's Committees of 40 wards and communes, along with wholesale traders, distributors, and petroleum businesses operating in the area.
According to the Hue City Department of Industry and Trade, there are currently 127 operating gas stations in the city. Information from businesses indicates that most stations have implemented the distribution of E10 bioethanol fuel according to the prescribed schedule. Only one station, belonging to Phat An Khang Company, continues to sell its remaining RON95 gasoline inventory before completely converting to the regulated E10 bioethanol fuel business.

The deployment of E10 gasoline is being carried out according to the roadmap for applying the blending ratio of biofuels with traditional fuels as stipulated by the Ministry of Industry and Trade and directed by the Government.
To ensure a synchronized transition, the Department of Industry and Trade advised the City People's Committee to issue guiding documents; at the same time, it requested key traders, distributors, and retail establishments to urgently complete technical infrastructure, prepare supply sources, and other necessary conditions for business operations.
At the conference, representatives from Thuy Tan Petroleum Company stated that the company has implemented the distribution of E10 gasoline throughout its entire network of stores. Some customers initially had concerns, but after staff clearly explained the quality and safety of the biofuel, no negative feedback arose.

Towards a green city
According to Mr. Phan Hung Son, Deputy Director of the Department of Industry and Trade of Hue City, the official implementation of E10 bioethanol fuel is of significant importance in the goal of developing green energy, reducing emissions, and protecting the environment.
“For Hue City – a heritage city, a green city, and an important tourist destination of the whole country – reducing emissions from transportation vehicles has practical significance in protecting the living environment, maintaining air quality, and contributing to building the image of a green and friendly destination,” Mr. Son shared.
According to the head of the Department of Industry and Trade, expanding the use of biofuels not only contributes to gradually reducing dependence on fossil fuels but also ensures energy security, aligning with the direction of green and circular economic development.

To reassure the public about the use of E10 gasoline in the future, the Department of Industry and Trade will continue to coordinate with relevant units to promote awareness about the quality, safety, and benefits of biofuels; strengthen information dissemination through media channels; and implement visual communication methods at gas stations.
The leaders of the Department of Industry and Trade emphasized that communication efforts need to be implemented synchronously across sectors and localities to create a synergistic effect and strong dissemination within the community. The People's Committees of wards and communes will integrate the content of using green energy and protecting the environment into neighborhood meetings, contributing to promoting the movement of "Hue residents prioritizing the use of environmentally friendly biofuels".
Specifically, from June 1st, the Department of Industry and Trade directed the Market Management Sub-department to take the lead and coordinate with relevant agencies to strengthen supervision and inspection of the implementation of the roadmap for applying the blending ratio of biofuels; resolutely and strictly handle acts of speculation, hoarding, violations of selling prices or trading in types of gasoline and diesel fuel not in accordance with regulations.

The widespread rollout of E10 gasoline not only marks a shift in the use of clean energy but is also expected to contribute to preserving Hue's status as a green city, protecting the environment, and enhancing its image as a green and sustainable tourist destination.
