Discovered 10 martyrs' remains along with many bullet shells and bottles

On July 16, Mr. Ha Sy Dong, Permanent Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Tri province, and the working delegation came to offer incense and visit the remains of 10 martyrs who had just been gathered at Hamlet 3B, Khe Sanh town, Huong Hoa district (Quang Tri).

Previously, from the people's report, the Martyrs' Remains Collection Team, Defense Economic Group 337 (Military Region 4) surveyed and found 2 martyrs' remains in the garden of Mrs. Nguyen Thi Ly's family, residing in Hamlet 3B, Khe Sanh town.

Expanding the search area, by July 16, the recovery team had found a total of 10 martyrs’ remains. The martyrs’ remains were found at a depth of 50-70cm, along with accompanying artifacts such as: tanks, hammocks, bullet casings, military parachutes, etc.

The martyrs' remains were brought to the Huong Hoa District Martyrs' Cemetery to prepare for a solemn burial and memorial service in accordance with regulations.
