Inspecting a shipment transported from France to Vietnam by air, authorities discovered a large amount of white crystals suspected to be ketamine, which were cleverly hidden.

During the process of customs procedures, inspection, supervision and control of goods transported by air to the long-distance air cargo warehouse, the Customs force discovered a shipment suspected of containing drugs.
On June 22, at the North Hanoi Customs Branch, the Drug Control and Prevention Team ( Hanoi Customs Department) presided over and coordinated with the North Hanoi Customs Branch, PC04, PC09 ( Hanoi City Police) to inspect a shipment of 2 boxes, with a total weight of about 30kg.
As a result, the authorities discovered 10 yellow boxes in each container. Each box contained a plastic bag containing white crystals suspected to be ketamine, with a total weight of more than 19kg.
Customs forces discovered more than 19 kg of white crystals suspected to be ketamine in a shipment from France to Vietnam.
Notably, the subjects cleverly camouflaged the packages of evidence at the bottom of cocoa boxes, then covered the bags with a layer of cocoa powder and packaged them sophisticatedly, mixing them with candy and other consumer goods in order to deceive the authorities.
Currently, the case is being further processed by the authorities.
