Attending were Associate Professor Dr. Huynh Thanh Dat, Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission, along with many scientists , leaders of agencies, organizations and enterprises.
The workshop honored the contributions of female intellectuals in research, innovation and international integration; at the same time, proposed policies to create an equal research environment, encouraging women scientists to develop comprehensively.

Speaking at the event, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thi Thanh Mai, Vice President of Ho Chi Minh City National University, said that women currently account for about 45% of the country’s scientific research workforce, playing an important role in the “three-house” linkage model (State – school – enterprise). She emphasized the need to perfect gender equality policies in science and develop a network of female intellectual advisors.
According to Dr. Trinh Hoang Kim Tu (Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy), women are facing double pressure between work and family, and need a transparent and fair mechanism for sustainable development.
Associate Professor Dr. Truong Thi Hien, President of the Ho Chi Minh City Association of Women Intellectuals, proposed: "To create conditions for women to participate in scientific research, the state needs to have a dedicated fund for women to participate in scientific research. In addition, there should be a policy mechanism to create favorable conditions for scientific research."
Representative of the management agency, Mr. Pham Huynh Quang Hieu, Deputy Director of the Department of Science and Technology of Ho Chi Minh City, said that the city is implementing specific solutions: shortening procedures, flexible research time, supporting access to capital, building a model of "incubator for female talent" and a fund to support young female scientists...
Experts agree that in the era of innovation, it is necessary to further promote the intelligence and potential of female intellectuals to contribute to the country's rapid and sustainable development.
