The Vietnam Learning and Reading Culture Platform, in collaboration with more than 300 enterprises and cooperatives, will develop an electronic digital library system to support 3,321 communes, contributing to bringing knowledge to the grassroots community, encouraging the spirit of lifelong learning and nurturing the reading culture movement.
That is the information Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Kim Anh, General Director of Vietnam Culture and Reading Floor announced at the Launching Ceremony of the Electronic Cooperative Federation Project (Digital Economic Alliance) on August 29 in Hanoi.
This is considered a soft digital transformation solution, while at the same time linking economic development with the reading culture movement, aiming for sustainable development.
According to the Organizing Committee, this is a practical step to spread knowledge, creating a foundation for a learning society - a pillar of sustainable development.
Musician Do Hong Quan, Chairman of the Vietnam Union of Literature and Arts Associations , highly appreciated this initiative, affirming that the project will promote the reading culture movement at the grassroots level, opening up new development space: both promoting digital transformation for millions of business households and creating an environment to nurture knowledge and the spirit of innovation. This is also a direction that is suitable for the business culture of Vietnamese people.
According to Mr. Do Hong Quan, implementing the Project on Developing Reading Culture in the Community for the period 2021-2025, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has a policy of promoting awareness of all levels, sectors, families, schools, communities and the whole society about the position, role and importance of reading and developing a reading culture, contributing to improving people's knowledge, developing thinking, creativity, nurturing personality and soul, forming a healthy lifestyle in people and Vietnamese society, promoting the building of a learning society, towards the aspiration of building a strong and prosperous country.

Accordingly, through propaganda activities on developing reading culture, to strengthen mobilization and encourage all classes of people, especially students, cadres, civil servants and public employees to build and maintain reading habits, orient and promote healthy reading trends in society. In addition, promptly commend and reward organizations and individuals who have made positive contributions to developing reading culture.
On this occasion, Mr. Do Hong Quan presented Certificates of Merit from the Vietnam Union of Literature and Arts Associations to individuals who have contributed to reading culture. This recognition not only encourages creativity in the field of literature and arts but also affirms the role of culture in the country's development./.
