Speaking at the Congress, Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee Pham Duc Tien emphasized: The Party Committee needs to continue to maintain its role as the center of solidarity.

The Congress was chaired and directed by the Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Secretary of the Hue City Party Committee - Pham Duc Tien; Member of the City Party Committee, Head of the City Party Committee's Organization Board, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Hue City Party Committee - Phan Xuan Toan; Member of the City Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Hue City People's Council - Nguyen Quang Tuan; Member of the City Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hue City - Nguyen Thi Ai Van; Deputy Secretary of the Hue City Party Committee - Nguyen Tai Tue.

The Congress welcomed Central delegates including Mr. Ho Hai Dang - Deputy Head of Department 5, Central Inspection Committee; Nguyen Ngoc Dung - Deputy Head of Department of Locality 2, Central Organizing Committee. Attending the Congress were 132 excellent delegates representing more than 800 party members from 12 branches and grassroots party committees, expressing their will, aspirations and high responsibility to a large number of cadres, party members and the Hue City Party Committee.

Presenting the Political Report at the Congress, Mr. Nguyen Tai Tue - Deputy Secretary of the Hue City Party Committee emphasized: The Hue City Party Committee was established in February 2025 on the basis of consolidating the organization after the end of the activities of the City Party Committee of Agencies and Enterprises. From 23 grassroots Party organizations with more than 500 initial Party members, the Party Committee has now been streamlined to 12 grassroots Party organizations with over 800 Party members.

With the motto "Solidarity - Exemplary - Innovation - Development", the congress focused on comprehensively assessing the results of the past term, pointing out the shortcomings, limitations, causes and lessons learned; at the same time, determining the directions, goals, tasks and solutions for the 2025 - 2030 term with the highest determination, promoting the role of the political nucleus, improving the leadership capacity and fighting strength of the Party organization, and building a contingent of cadres to meet the requirements of the new period.

With the motto "Solidarity - Exemplary - Innovation - Development", the congress focused on comprehensively evaluating the results of the past term.

Speaking at the congress, Mr. Pham Duc Tien - Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Secretary of the Hue City Party Committee emphasized: The Party Committee needs to continue to maintain its role as the center of solidarity, the core of leadership in the entire political system; firmly adhere to the principles of Party building, strongly innovate the content and methods of leadership, improve the effectiveness of advisory work, and build a clean and strong Party Committee in all aspects.

The Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee requested: Each cadre and party member, especially leaders and managers, must strictly fulfill their responsibility to set an example; improve their strategic thinking, proactively detect and propose solutions to remove "bottlenecks" in terms of institutions, organizations and personnel; consider advisory products as a measure of political capacity, quality and responsibility of each agency and each individual.

Party building work must be given special attention and identified as the key to the success or failure of political tasks. Party organizations at all levels need to improve the quality of activities, tighten discipline and order; carry out well all stages of personnel work in a democratic, transparent and impartial manner; focus on discovering and nurturing young cadres, female cadres, cadres with innovative thinking and aspiration to contribute.

In addition, inspection and supervision work must have a focus and key points; focus on early and remote prevention and containment. Strengthen the application of digital technology, promote administrative reform in the Party, modernize leadership methods, and aim to build a smart Party organization that can flexibly adapt to the new context.

Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee Pham Duc Tien presented flowers and congratulated the Party Executive Committee for the new term.

Civil service culture in the CCQD also needs to be built synchronously with a sense of responsibility, exemplary, integrity, and dedication. Each cadre must "match words with actions", build a democratic working style, close to the people, but resolute and principled. Emulation movements need to be associated with fair evaluation, rewarding the right people, the right jobs, and the right achievements.

The Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee affirmed: “Every step forward of the City Party Committee bears the mark of the contribution of the CCQD Party Committee. With the tradition of solidarity, sense of responsibility and a team of brave and intelligent cadres, the Party Committee will continue to promote its role well, worthy of being a typical model in the entire Hue City Party Committee”.

At the congress, Head of the City Party Committee's Organization Committee - Phan Xuan Toan announced the decisions of the City Party Committee's Standing Committee on the personnel of the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, Inspection Committee and Delegation attending the 17th Hue City Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030. Accordingly, the Executive Committee consists of 23 comrades; the Standing Committee consists of 8 comrades; the Inspection Committee consists of 4 comrades; the Delegation attending the Hue City Party Congress has 7 comrades (6 official delegates, 1 alternate).

Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee Pham Duc Tien was appointed to hold the position of Secretary of the Party Committee of Hue City Party Agencies for the 2025-2030 term. Head of the City Party Committee's Organization Board - Phan Xuan Toan holds the position of Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee; Mr. Nguyen Tai Tue holds the position of Deputy Secretary of the Hue City Party Committee of Public Security for the 2025-2030 term.
