On the morning of August 16, comrade Dang Xuan Phuong, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, had a working session with the Dam Ha District Party Committee on the results of propaganda work and the work of building grassroots Party organizations and Party members since the beginning of the term.
The Dam Ha District Party Committee currently has 34 branches and grassroots Party Committees with nearly 2,500 Party members. Since the beginning of the term, the Executive Committee and the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee have proactively developed and issued many Resolutions, projects, programs and plans to effectively implement propaganda work and the work of building grassroots Party organizations and Party members. In particular, they have directed the organization of extensive political and ideological activities throughout the Party Committee.
Since the beginning of the term, the district Party Committee has admitted 427 new party members; established 3 party cells in non-state enterprises under the grassroots party committee with 38 party members. The rate of newly admitted party members who are ethnic minorities and party members who are students has increased gradually over the years. The quality of the party members has been increasingly improved. The models of "4 good party cells" and "4 good grassroots party committees" have been implemented in a practical and effective manner.
Speaking at the meeting, comrade Dang Xuan Phuong, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation highly appreciated the direction and achievements of the Dam Ha District Party Committee in propaganda work and the work of building grassroots party organizations and party members.
Regarding the tasks in the coming time, he suggested that the Dam Ha District Party Committee continue to focus on implementing preparations for the Party Congresses at all levels; especially personnel preparation. In particular, for residential area Party cells, the district must have fundamental, long-term solutions to prepare personnel for the position of Party cell secretary who is also the head of the village, hamlet, and neighborhood. Ensure that this team meets both the qualifications, political awareness, and prestige in the community. At the same time, create a source of planning for grassroots cadres in the coming period.
Dam Ha district continues to innovate the way of organizing activities to improve the quality and effectiveness of Party cell activities. Implementing Directive 05-CT/TW on promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle is becoming more and more practical and effective. In particular, it is necessary to concretize the study and following of Uncle Ho to each cadre and party member with each specific and practical task in work and daily life. Completing the development of codes of conduct, working and living style and discipline to concretize Regulation No. 144-QD/TW of the Politburo on regulations on revolutionary ethical standards of cadres and party members in the new period; Resolution No. 17-NQ/TU of the Provincial Party Executive Committee "on building and promoting cultural values, human strength of Quang Ninh to become an endogenous resource, a driving force for rapid and sustainable development".
The Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee also emphasized that one of the particularly important issues in the current propaganda work is the work of political education, ideology and local historical traditions. To improve the quality of this activity, the district must continue to update and supplement educational materials on local historical traditions. Especially, collecting and compiling historical stories of educational significance for each family, each clan, each residential area. From there, arouse the pride in each local person about the traditions of their ancestors and their homeland; create a combined strength to contribute to building Dam Ha district to develop more and more.
