Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Tran Quang Phuong presents gifts to meritorious people

On the afternoon of July 7, Party Central Committee member and Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Tran Quang Phuong visited and presented gifts to families of people with revolutionary contributions in Cam Thanh ward on the occasion of the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day. Accompanying him were Alternate Party Central Committee member, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of U Huan province; Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Delegation Work Committee Dang Ngoc Huy.

Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Tran Quang Phuong and his delegation visited and presented gifts to war invalids: Ngo Van Tham, Nguyen Thi Nghien, Nguyen Thi Kim Anh, Nguyen Van Nguu and war invalid Nguyen Thi Thanh Thuy.

Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Tran Quang Phuong kindly inquired about the health and expressed his deep gratitude for the great sacrifices and contributions of previous generations for the independence and freedom of the nation. He affirmed that the Party, State and People always remember and show gratitude to the heroic martyrs, war invalids, sick soldiers and people with meritorious services to the revolution. He hoped that the war invalids would continue to uphold the qualities of Uncle Ho's soldiers and set a good example for the younger generation to follow. The Vice Chairman also requested Party committees and authorities at all levels to take better care of the material and spiritual lives of people with meritorious services and to do a good job of repaying gratitude.
