Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Tuan Thanh attended the groundbreaking ceremony of Vinanutrifood Binh Dinh concentrated agricultural and forestry product production and processing factory.

(gialai.gov.vn) - On the morning of August 19, at Village 2, Tay Son Commune, Vinanutrifood Joint Stock Company, in coordination with the People's Committee of Gia Lai Province, Departments, Branches and related units, solemnly held the Groundbreaking Ceremony of Vinanutrifood Binh Dinh Concentrated Agricultural and Forestry Products Production and Processing Factory. This is one of 250 projects and works started nationwide to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025).

Attending the groundbreaking ceremony were comrades: Nguyen Tuan Thanh - Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Nguyen The Vinh - Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Commander of the Provincial Military Command; Huynh Thuy Van - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; together with representatives of leaders of departments, branches, units of the province; representatives of leaders of Tay Son commune.

On behalf of Vinanutrifood Binh Dinh Joint Stock Company, there was Mr. Pham Quang Truong - Chairman of the Board of Directors of the company. Also attending were strategic partners of Vinanutrifood Binh Dinh Joint Stock Company in the Chinese market.

Vinanutrifood Binh Dinh Concentrated Agricultural and Forestry Production and Processing Zone Project is invested in an area of 10 hectares in village 2, Tay Son commune, with a total investment capital of nearly 500 billion VND in phase 1; production scale of 10,000 tons of animal feed, 20,000 tons of canned fruit, 1,000 tons of instant fruit, 2,000 tons of functional foods and 5,000m³ of cosmetics per year; consuming an area of 2,500 hectares of raw materials, mainly agricultural products with strengths in the locality, such as: mango, honey pineapple, chili, medicinal plants. The project applies AI technology in agricultural management, blockchain traceability, and a type A standard microbiological wastewater treatment system, while making the entire supply chain transparent.

Delegates attending the groundbreaking ceremony

When put into operation, the project will not only benefit businesses but also contribute to the socio -economic development of the locality, especially helping to form a large-scale, concentrated raw material area; promoting the application of science, technology, and new farming techniques in agricultural production; building a circular, netzero agricultural value chain; creating regular jobs for 300 factory workers and 1,000 indirect workers; purchasing and consuming agricultural products for 3,000 local households.

Speaking at the ceremony, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Tuan Thanh emphasized that the groundbreaking ceremony of the Vinanutrifood Binh Dinh Concentrated Agricultural and Forestry Production and Processing Zone Project is an event of special significance, not only marking the beginning of an important project in the field of high-tech agriculture and deep processing of Gia Lai province, but also one of a series of practical activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

On behalf of the leaders of Gia Lai province, comrade Nguyen Tuan Thanh acknowledged, commended and highly appreciated the initiative, efforts and determination of Vinanutrifood Binh Dinh Joint Stock Company in the process of surveying, promoting investment and carefully preparing for the project groundbreaking ceremony. The selection of Tay Son commune, a locality with rich potential in agriculture and forestry products, to implement the project not only shows strategic vision, but also affirms the investor's trust in the investment environment of Gia Lai province.

In order for the Vinanutrifood Binh Dinh Concentrated Agricultural and Forestry Production and Processing Zone Project to be implemented smoothly, on schedule and with the highest efficiency, the Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the Department of Agriculture and Environment to preside over and closely coordinate with relevant departments, branches and local authorities, focusing on supporting investors in building specialized raw material growing areas, applying advanced farming techniques to ensure a stable supply of quantity and quality for the factory.

Propose that Tay Son Commune People's Committee focus maximum resources, be resolute in compensation and site clearance work, ensure the final handover of clean site to investors to implement the project according to the approved schedule.

Vinanutrifood Binh Dinh Joint Stock Company signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation with a Chinese partner.

The Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also requested relevant departments, agencies and sectors to proactively accompany and create the best conditions to support investors. Promptly resolve any problems arising during the project implementation, especially administrative procedures, land, and infrastructure connections; closely monitor progress, quality, ensure labor safety and environmental sanitation at the project, so that the project can soon be put into operation and promote the proposed socio-economic efficiency.

Along with that, he requested Vinanutrifood Binh Dinh Joint Stock Company to focus all resources, implement the project on schedule, ensure the quality of the project and absolute labor safety. Strictly comply with the provisions of the law, especially the regulations on environmental protection during the construction and operation of the factory. At the same time, the Company needs to fulfill its commitments, including compensation and site clearance, to create the most favorable conditions for the project implementation process.

The Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee said that the provincial leaders will continue to accompany businesses, creating the most favorable conditions for the project to be completed on schedule, creating growth momentum for the new Tay Son commune and developing sustainable agriculture.
